Tailson Pinto Gonçalves (born 5 March 1999), simply known as Tailson (), is a Brazilian professional Association football, footballer who plays as a Forward (association football), forward or an Midfielder#Attacking midfielder, attacking midfielder for First Professional Football League (Bulgaria), Bulgarian First League club Botev Plovdiv. Club career Santos Born in Santo André, São Paulo (state), São Paulo, Tailson joined Santos FC, Santos' youth setup at the age of nine; in 2014 he left to join Grêmio Esportivo Mauaense, Mauaense, but returned to the club in 2015. After appearing in the 2019 Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior, he was called up to the first team by manager Jorge Sampaoli. On 19 April 2019, Tailson left the club after his contract expired. On 5 August, however, after being linked to FC Barcelona, he signed a professional deal with the club. The Campeonato Brasileiro Série D (English: Brazilian Championship Serie D), commonly known as the Série D or the Brazilian Série D to distinguish it from the Italian Serie D, is the fourth division of the Brazilian football league system, and was announced by the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) on 9 April 2008. The Campeonato Brasileiro Série D was formed from the split of the Campeonato Brasileiro Série C, Série C, keeping its best 20 clubs and playing double round robin as does the top three divisions.
