Tahkhana
''Tahkhana'' (), also known as ''Tahkhana: The Dungeon'', is a 1986 Indian Hindi-language horror film directed by Shyam Ramsay and Tulsi Ramsay. Its plot follows two sisters separated at birth and the search for a hidden treasure, which is guarded in a dungeon by a bloodthirsty monster. ''Tahkhana'' features music composed by Ajit Singh and songs sung by Asha Bhosle, Amit Kumar, Anuradha Paudwal and Sushma Shreshtha. It stars Hemant Birje, Aarti Gupta and Kamran Rizvi in the lead roles, supported by Puneet Issar, Imtiaz Khan, Priti Sapru, Trilok Kapoor, Huma Khan, Rajindernath and Shamsuddin among others. Plot A dying Thakur Surjeet Singh bequeaths his entire estate to one of his sons, Raghuvir, disowning the other, Dhurjan, the family's black sheep, who also indulges in black magic. Tulsi Ramsay
Tulsi Ramsay (29 July 1944 – 13 December 2018) was an Indian film director. He was the son of F. U. Ramsay and was one of the famous Seven Ramsay Brothers. The other six are Kumar Ramsay, Shyam Ramsay, Keshu Ramsay, Arjun Ramsay, Gangu Ramsay and Kiran Ramsay. Tulsi Ramsay directed several movies in the Horror genre during the 80's and 90's. Movies such as Hotel, Purana Mandir, Tahkhana, Veerana, Bandh Darwaza have acquired a cult following. He has also directed the '' Zee Horror Show'' TV series in 1993. The memories of most of the episodes of this TV series are still afresh in the hearts of horror enthusiasts in India. He ran a production company, Tulsi Ramsay Production located at Andheri in Mumbai. Ramsay died on 14 December, 2018 in a city hospital in Mumbai after complaining of chest pains. Narendra Nath (1935–1998) was an Indian actor. Early life and background His full name is Narendra Nath Malhotra. He was the first cousin to actor Prithviraj Kapoor. Shyam Ramsay (17 May 1952 – 18 September 2019) was a Bollywood film director. He was one of the seven Ramsay Brothers who were active in Indian cinema throughout the 1970s and the 1980s. Shyam Ramsay was considered the main artist and head of this group. They produced a number of horror movies such as ''Darwaza'' (1978), ''Purana Mandir'' (1984), and '' Veerana'' (1988). ''Purana Mandir'' () is a 1984 Indian Hindi-language horror film directed by the Ramsay brothers and produced by Kanta Ramsay. The soundtrack was composed by Ajit Singh. Typical of Ramsay's other works, the film chronicles the story of a demonic magician Samri who after a violent standoff, curses a king that every female member of the latter's family would die at childbirth. Plot The film opens 200 years ago, with the royal procession of Raja Harimaan Singh of the sultanate of Bijapur, stranded near the ''Kali Pahari'' (the Black Mountain).
