Taguhi Tovmasyan
Taguhi Tovmasyan (; born 14 August 1982, Vardenis, Armenian Soviet Socialist Republic, Armenian SSR, USSR) is an Armenians, Armenian politician and the Deputy of the 7th convocation of the National Assembly (Armenia), National Assembly of Armenia, Guide-translator (English), journalist, and politician. Biography Tovmasyan was born August 1982 in Vardenis. She studied at the Faculty of Humanities at the Armenian State Pedagogical University from where she graduated as an English guide translator in 2000 and a journalist in 2003. In 2013, she graduated with a Master of Science, MSc in political science from the Armenian Academy of Public Administration. She followed up on her studies in journalism in international standards of journalism at the Institute for War en Peace Reporting in Yerevan in 2004, and in a program on juridical journalism from the Association of European Journalists. Vardenis
Vardenis ( ) is a town in the Vardenis Municipality of the Gegharkunik Province of Armenia. It is located in the valley of the Masrik River, on the territory of the Masrik artesian basin at Above mean sea level, above sea level, near the southeastern shores of Lake Sevan. It is by road east of the capital Yerevan, and southeast of the provincial centre Gavar. The administrative territory of Vardenis comprises , of which is occupied by the town itself. Vardenis obtained its status as an urban settlement in 1995. As of the 2011 census, the population of the town was 12,685. However, as per the 2016 official estimate, the population of Vardenis is 12,600. As of the 2022 census, the population of the town was 12,466. I Have Honor Alliance
I Have Honor () is a political alliance in Armenia. It was founded on 15 May 2021 as an alliance between the Republican Party of Armenia and the Homeland Party. The Homeland Party withdrew from the alliance in June 2022. History The alliance was formed during the 2020–2021 Armenian protests. Both the Republican Party and the Homeland Party were previous members of the Homeland Salvation Movement and called on Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan to resign following Armenia's defeat in the 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh war. Both parties subsequently left the Homeland Salvation Movement to form the I Have Honor alliance. The alliance had confirmed that they would participate in the 2021 Armenian parliamentary elections. Artur Vanetsyan was nominated to lead the alliance. Following the election, the alliance won 5.22% of the popular vote, gaining 6 seats in the National Assembly. The Armenian Soviet Socialist Republic (ArSSR), also known as Soviet Armenia, or simply Armenia, was one of the constituent republics of the Soviet Union, located in the Caucasus region of Eurasia.
