Ramilla Ramesh, better known as Thagubothu Ramesh, is an Indian actor and comedian known for his work in Telugu cinema. Known for his signature portrayal of inebriated characters, he earned the nickname "Thagubothu" () due to his memorable performances in such roles. He is a recipient of Nandi Award for Best Male Comedian. He has appeared in notable films such as ''Mahatma'' (2009), ''Ala Modalaindi'' (2011), '' Pilla Zamindar'' (2011), and ''Ishq'' (2012). Early life Ramesh was born in Godavarikhani located in Peddapalli district, Telangana. His father was an employee at Singareni Collieries Company and his mother was a housewife.
