Tadeusz Kwinta
Tadeusz Kwinta (born 18 October 1938) is a Polish actor. Biography He started acting when he was 13 in the young artists' theatre created by Maria Biliżanka. He was an artist of Piwnica pod Baranami. After graduating from Ludwik Solski Academy for the Dramatic Arts in 1960 he began work in Ludowy Theatre (1960–67, later 1974–79, 1981–86). Kwinta was also an actor of Silesian Theatre (1967–69), Helena Modrzejewska Theatre (1969–71), Bagatela Theatre (1971–74, as an artistic director 1986–90) and Juliusz Słowacki Theatre (1990–2004). Piwnica Pod Baranami
The Piwnica pod Baranami ( en, The Basement, or the Cellar under the Rams) is a Polish literary cabaret located in Kraków, Poland. For over thirty years, in the People's Republic of Poland, Piwnica pod Baranami served as the most renowned political cabaret in the country, until the end of (and beyond) the communist era. Created by Piotr Skrzynecki in 1956, the cabaret continues its activities, contrary to rumours that it has been closed after the death of its founder in 1997. It resides at its original location in the medieval Old Town district, at the Main Market Square (next to Vis-á-vis café). At first, the facility was a meeting place for Kraków students. Helena Modrzejewska Theatre
The Helena Modrzejewska Theatre in Legnica, Poland - a state drama theater, operating in the building of the former opera-theater from the mid-19th century. In 1991 the building was entered into the register of historical monuments (district number: 590/963/L of 17.06.1991). Impresario period The building of the theater was designed by Carl Ferdinand Langhans the younger, creator of the Breslau Opera House. It replaced the former cloth halls. The building was modelled on the Palazzo Strozzi, Strozzi Palace in Florence. The ceremonial opening of the stage on 25 December 1842 was accompanied by the staging of Friedrich Halm's play ''"The Son of the Wilderness"'' (Der Sohn der Wildnis). Juliusz Słowacki Theatre ( pl, Teatr im. Juliusza Słowackiego w Krakowie) is a 19th-century Eclectic theatre-opera house in the heart of Kraków, Poland, and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
