The AMA EnduroCross Championship is an endurocross championship held in North America since 2007. It is held in stadiums or arenas, recreating enduro obstacles such as rocks, boulders and logs. Motorsport promoters Eric Peronnard and Tim Clark organized the first EnduroCross event at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas in 2004, with a similar format to the Barcelona Indoor Enduro. Enduro is a form of motorcycle sport run on extended cross-country, off-road courses. Enduro consists of many different obstacles and challenges. The main type of enduro event, and the format to which the World Enduro Championship is run, is a time-card enduro, whereby a number of stages are raced in a time trial against the clock. Time-keeping enduros In a traditional time-keeping enduro, riders leave together in groups or rows, and each row starts at a certain minute. The object of the event is to arrive at pre-defined checkpoints according to a strict schedule. Early or late arrivals result in the riders' scores being penalized. Throughout a day there will also be allocated periods for refuelling and servicing the machine. Bulcher, Texas
Bulcher is a small unincorporated community in far northwestern Cooke County, Texas, United States. According to the Handbook of Texas, only six people lived in the community in 2000. It is located within the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. History John A. Dennis and his family are credited with being the first homesteaders in the area when they relocated to the site in 1872. Subsequent settlers included Matthew A. Morris, the postmaster upon the establishment of the post office in 1874, and John Scanland, who gave land for the Scanland Cemetery east and south of Bulcher. William H. Cox was another early inhabitant who constructed a cotton gin in Bulcher in 1875. The population stayed relatively steady at 250 until June 24, 1926, when oil was discovered nearby. The FIM SuperEnduro World Championship is an endurocross series held primarily in Europe since 2007. It is held from October to March, during the Northern Hemisphere winter and the Enduro World Championship off-season. Circuits are built inside stadiums or arenas, recreating obstacles such as rocks, boulders and logs. The series had its first season in 2007–08 under the name FIM Indoor Enduro World Cup. In 2010–11 it was renamed FIM Indoor Enduro World Championship and in 2011/12 it adopted its current designation.
