Tadas Sedekerskis
Tadas Sedekerskis (born January 17, 1998) is a Lithuanian professional basketball player and the team captain for Saski Baskonia of the Spanish Liga ACB and the EuroLeague. Professional career During his early career aged 14, Sedekerskis played for Kuršiai Neringa in the third-tier Lithuanian basketball league – RKL, averaging 10.6 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.8 assists per 27 minutes over 5 games in the 2012–13 season. In June 2013, Sedekerskis signed a "1+2+3" contract with Baskonia of Spain. On May 10, 2014 Sedekerskis led Baskonia's junior team to a bronze medal after scoring 34 points (2-pointers: 7/10, 3-pointers: 4/11, FT: 8/11), grabbing 10 rebounds and making two steals. 2016–17 EuroLeague
The 2016–17 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague was the 17th season of the modern era of Euroleague Basketball and the seventh under the title sponsorship of the Turkish Airlines. Including the competition's previous incarnation as the FIBA Europe Champions Cup, this was the 60th season of the premier level competition for European men's professional basketball clubs. This was the first season in which the competition changed to a league format, with sixteen teams playing each other in a home-and-away round-robin competition. Regular season groups were abolished, as well as the Top 16 group stage. The Final Four was hosted by the Sinan Erdem Dome in Istanbul, Turkey. EuroBasket 2015 was the 39th edition of the EuroBasket championship that was organized by FIBA Europe. It was co-hosted by Croatia, France, Germany, and Latvia, making it the first EuroBasket held in more than one country. It started on 5 September and ended on 20 September 2015. Laurynas Birutis (born 27 August 1997) is a Lithuanian professional basketball player for Žalgiris Kaunas of Lithuanian Basketball League (LKL) and the EuroLeague. Martynas Varnas (born 21 January 1997) is a Lithuanian professional basketball player for Lietkabelis Panevėžys of the Lithuanian Basketball League (LKL). Lietuvos krepšinio lyga (LKL; ), also known as Betsafe LKL for sponsorship reasons, is the premier men's professional club basketball league in Lithuania. The Nike Hoop Summit is an international basketball all-star game sponsored by Nike, Inc., Nike, held once a year, which features the USA Basketball Men's Junior Select Team against a World Select Team of international players. The players demonstrate their skills and hope to attract attention from either National Basketball Association, NBA scouts or college basketball, colleges.
