''TX-Sector'' is a pinball machine designed by John Trudeau and released by Gottlieb in 1988. The Pinball Arcade
''The Pinball Arcade'' is a pinball video game developed by FarSight Studios. The game is a simulated collection of real pinball tables licensed by Gottlieb, Alvin G. and Company, and Stern Pinball, a company which also owns the rights of machines from Data East and Sega Pinball. Williams and Bally games are no longer available since June 30, 2018, as FarSight had lost the license to WMS properties, which has since passed to Zen Studios. Gottlieb
Gottlieb (formerly D. Gottlieb & Co.) was an American arcade game corporation based in Chicago, Illinois. History The main office and plant was located at 1140-50 N. Kostner Avenue until the early 1970s when a new modern plant and office was located at 165 W. Lake Street in Northlake, IL. A subassembly plant was located in Fargo, ND. The company was established by David Gottlieb in 1927, initially producing pinball machines while later expanding into various other games including pitch-and-bats, bowling games, and eventually video arcade games (notably '' Reactor'' and ''Q*bert ''and, leading to the demise of Mylstar, M*A*C*H*3.) Pinball
Pinball games are a family of games in which a ball is propelled into a specially designed table where it bounces off various obstacles, scoring points either en route or when it comes to rest. Historically the board was studded with nails called 'pins' and had hollows or pockets which scored points if the ball came to rest in them. A glossary of terms, commonly used in discussing pinball machines. A add-a-ball :Allows the player to add additional balls by achieving a specific task e.g. during an active ''multiball''. A feature especially popular on the latest generations of Stern machines. Earlier in pinball history, ''add-a-ball'' was actually used to describe that a player can earn extra balls. apron :The large attachment at the very bottom of the playfield, which usually holds a score and/or instruction card and which covers the ball trough. The front edges of the apron lead the ball to the drain. autosave :For a limited time, every ball that goes down the drain will be returned to the plunger. Usually only available when starting with a new ball (to compensate for "unfair" very fast drains), it will also be available during the start of multiballs on later machines. ''Victory'' is a John Trudeau designed 1987 solid state pinball machine by Premier and licensed under Gottlieb. Description It was the first pinball machine to use a completely screened photo-realistic Vitrigraph. Other games had the silk screen on the wood. The table sold 3,100 units. The game was designed by John Trudeau, the artwork was by Constanitino Mitchell and sound by Dave Zabriskie. Gameplay ''Victory'' is a driving themed game. The goal is to get the ball into all seven targets (or as the game refers to them as checkpoints) and to then finish the race by making the ball go through the checkered spinner. ''Classic Game Room'' (commonly abbreviated CGR) was a video game review web series produced, directed, edited and hosted by Mark Bussler of Inecom, LLC. The show reviewed both retro and modern video games along with gaming accessories, pinball machines, and minutiae such as gaming mousepads and food products. The show broadcast its reviews via video-sharing website YouTube under the screen name 'Lord Karnage' until late 2013, when they moved to Dailymotion, citing issues with YouTube.
