Tailwind Airlines
Tailwind Airlines is a Turkish charter airline based in Istanbul which operates flights from its bases at Antalya Airport. History The airline was founded as a joint Turkish-British project, with the first commercial flight taking place in May 2009. Founded by Kadri Muhiddin, Safi Ergin and Mehmet Demir Uz in 2006, the low-cost airline operated five Boeing 737-400 as of August 2013. In early September 2016, a Boeing 737-800 with aircraft registration TC-TLH was banned from Lebanon for landing at Ben Gurion Airport in Israel. After a technical check, Tailwind Airlines briefly operated the aircraft, which had previously been leased to Wings of Lebanon and painted in its colors, on its own routes. Tolerable Weekly Intake
Tolerable weekly intake (TWI) estimates the amount per unit body weight of a potentially harmful substance or contaminant in food or water that can be ingested over a lifetime without risk of adverse health effects. TWI is generally preceded by "provisional" to indicate insufficient data exists, increasing uncertainty. The term TWI should be reserved for when there is a well-established and internationally accepted tolerance, backed by sound and uncontested data. Although similar in concept to tolerable daily intake (TDI), which is of the same derivation of acceptable daily intakes (ADIs), TWI accounts for contaminants that do not clear the body quickly and may accumulate within the body over a period of time. An example is heavy metals such as arsenic, cadmium, lead, and mercury. The concept of TWI takes into account daily variations in human consumption patterns. The Way International
The Way International is a global, non-denominational Christian ministry based in New Knoxville, Ohio. Tin Wing Stop
Tin Wing () is an MTR Light Rail stop. It is located at ground level beside Tin Shing Road in Tin Shui Wai Town Centre, Yuen Long District. It began service on 26 March 1995 and belongs to Zone 4. History The stop was originally named Tin Shui Wai Terminus (). To avoid confusion with the new Tin Shui Wai station () on the KCRC West Rail (now MTR West Rail line), which has a light rail station of the same name, its name was changed to Tin Wing. The change came into effect on 1 August 2003. On 7 December 2003, two extensions of the light rail network in Tin Shui Wai came into service, namely the Tin Shui Wai Phase 4 Extension and Tin Shui Wai Reserve Zone Extension, two weeks before the opening of the new West Rail commuter line. Topographic Wetness Index
The topographic wetness index (TWI), also known as the compound topographic index (CTI), is a steady state wetness index. It is commonly used to quantify topographic control on hydrological processes. The index is a function of both the slope and the upstream contributing area per unit width orthogonal to the flow direction. The index was designed for hillslope catenas. Accumulation numbers in flat areas will be very large, so TWI will not be a relevant variable. The index is highly correlated with several soil attributes such as horizon depth, silt percentage, organic matter content, and phosphorus. Methods of computing this index differ primarily in the way the upslope contributing area is calculated. The trade-weighted effective exchange rate index, a common form of the effective exchange rate index, is a multilateral exchange rate index. It is compiled as a weighted average of exchange rates of ''home'' versus ''foreign'' currencies, with the weight for each ''foreign'' country equal to its share in trade. Depending on the purpose for which it is used, it can be export-weighted, import-weighted, or total-external trade weighted. The trade-weighted effective exchange rate index is an economic indicator for comparing the exchange rate of a country against those of their major trading partners. By design, movements in the currencies of those trading partners with a greater share in an economy's exports and imports will have a greater effect on the effective exchange rate. Training Within Industry
The Training Within Industry (TWI) service was created by the United States Department of War, running from 1940 to 1945 within the War Manpower Commission. The purpose was to provide consulting services to war-related industries whose personnel were being conscripted into the US Army at the same time the War Department was issuing orders for additional matériel. It was apparent that the shortage of trained and skilled personnel at precisely the time they were needed most would impose a hardship on those industries, and that only improved methods of job training would address the shortfall. By the end of World War II, over 1.6 million workers in over 16,500 plants had received a certification. The program continued post-war in Europe and Asia, where it aided reconstruction. Automotive tires are described by an alphanumeric tire code (in North American English) or tyre code (in Commonwealth English), which is generally molded into the sidewall of the tire. This code specifies the dimensions of the tire, and some of its key limitations, such as load-bearing ability, and maximum speed. Sometimes the inner sidewall contains information not included on the outer sidewall, and vice versa. The code has grown in complexity over the years, as is evident from the mix of SI and USC units, and ad-hoc extensions to lettering and numbering schemes. New automotive tires frequently have ratings for traction, treadwear, and temperature resistance, all collectively known as the Uniform Tire Quality Grading. Twickenham Railway Station
Twickenham railway station is in Twickenham in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, and is in Travelcard Zone 5. By track it is from . Only one main street abuts the station – at its west end – London Road running between a trunk road south of Twickenham Stadium and the town centre to the south including the town's public section of riverside. The station and all trains serving it are operated by South Western Railway. Apart from Richmond Railway Bridge it is at the heart of a long section of two tracks ''at grade'' (i.e. the level of the surrounding land) between Putney and Egham.
