TV1 (Australian TV Channel)
TV1 was an Australian subscription channel. The station closed on 31 December 2013, along with its sister channel SF (Australia), SF. It was replaced on 1 January 2014 by TV Hits (Australian TV channel), TVH!ts. History TV1 launched as part of the original Galaxy (Australian television), Galaxy line-up. The channel was jointly owned by Sony Pictures Television and CBS Studios International (CBS Corporation), and NBCUniversal (Comcast). The channel broadcast numerous sitcoms, dramas, Pre-2006 movies and other programming. It referred to itself as 'Always Great'. Norsk TV1
Norsk TV1 was a Norwegian television station. Norsk TV1 started in 1989. It was focused on Norwegian shows and films, and produced a lot of entertainment shows for its weekend programming. Norsk TV1 had its first test broadcasts in December 1988, but did not start with regular broadcasts until February 1989. Norsk TV1 was advertising-financed and was owned by Orkla. It was the third private Norwegian channel to be established in Norway (after TV3 and TVNorge). It was closed down in June 1989 due to financial problems and was taken over by TVNorge. TVNZ 1 () is the first national television channel owned and operated by the state-owned broadcaster Television New Zealand (TVNZ). It is the oldest television broadcaster in New Zealand, starting out from 1960 as independent channels in the four main centres of Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin, networking in 1969 to become NZBC TV (although the individual facilities retained their call signs into the 1970s). It was officially launched on 31 January 1968 as a test broadcast, becoming regular by the early 1970s. M1 (em egy) is a Hungary, Hungarian television channel owned and operated by Duna Média. It is also transmitted in High-definition television, high definition. The channel originally launched on 1 May 1957, as a Generalist channel, generalist channel, and was the Flagship (broadcasting), flagship channel of Magyar Televízió. On 15 March 2015, M1 was relaunched as a 24-hour News broadcasting, news channel, with all variety and entertainment programming being transferred to the channel Duna Televízió, Duna. While the channel's primary launguage is Hungarian, M1 also broadcasts once a day condensed versions of its news in English, German, Russian and Chinese. SVT1 (SVT Ett; commonly referred to as Ettan) is the primary television station of the Swedish public service broadcaster Sveriges Television in Sweden. History Television in Sweden officially launched on 4 September 1956 with the launch of ''Radiotjänst TV'', renamed ''Sveriges Radio TV'' a year later. It would take a few years before achieving national coverage. From 1955 to 1958, Danish television carried a program in Swedish ('' Sydsvenska journalen'') aiming at viewers in Skåne until the link with Stockholm was finished in 1958. SABC 2 is a South African free-to-air television channel owned by the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC). VRT 1 is a public Dutch-language TV station in Belgium, owned by the VRT, which also owns Ketnet, VRT Canvas and several radio stations. Although the channel is commercial-free, short sponsorship messages are broadcast in between some programmes.
