''TV Now'' (stylised as ''TV NOW'') is an Irish magazine containing a television guide, interviews with television stars and other television-related items. It is part of the '' VIP'' publishing franchise of Michael O'Doherty. ''TV Now'' was launched in 2000 as the last of O'Doherty's co-ordinated business ventures in Ireland with his former business partner John Ryan; it succeeded '' Magill'' in 1997 and '' VIP'' in 1999 and preceded later titles such as the teenage-oriented ''Kiss'' (2002), the glossy monthly targeted at women in the age group of eighteen to thirty-four ''Stellar'' and the failed '' New York Dog'' venture in New York City. Michael O'Doherty is a television talent judge, newspaper writer and the publisher of the '' VIP'' magazine group in Ireland. Mansion House, Dublin
The Mansion House () is a house on Dawson Street, Dublin, which has been the official residence of the Lord Mayor of Dublin since 1715, and was also the meeting place of the Dáil Éireann from 1919 until 1922. History The first dedicated mayoralty house was built in 1665 by Sir Daniel Bellingham, 1st Baronet at the corner of Castle Street and Fishamble Street. The modern Mansion House was later commissioned by the merchant and property developer Joshua Dawson. The site he selected was a piece of poor-quality marshy land outside the medieval city walls which he acquired in 1705. Caroline Morahan (born 9 August 1977) is an Irish actress and television host. In 2010, she was chosen as the face of Littlewoods Ireland. The ''TV Now'' Awards (known presently for sponsorship reasons as the Walkers Sensations ''TV Now'' Awards) was an annual awards ceremony which took place in Ireland between 2006 and 2010. The awards celebrated television moments from the previous year, with their name being taken from the magazine ''TV Now'' which is published by Michael O'Doherty. The ''TV Now'' Awards were held annually at the Mansion House in Dublin and saw cast members of British soaps such as ''Coronation Street'', ''Emmerdale'', ''EastEnders'' and ''Hollyoaks'' flying to Ireland to be present and to collect their awards. ''VIP'' (standing for Very Important Person) is both the title of a magazine and a publishing group owned by the Irish publisher Michael O'Doherty. The VIP group currently consists of three titles (VIP, TV Now, Stellar) and four companies (Minjara Limited ("Minjara"), Vymura Limited ("Vymura"), Barndee Limited ("Barndee") and VIP Publishing Limited). Minjara underwent liquidation in 2014. VIP magazine was launched in 1999, the second of O'Doherty's business ventures with his former business partner John Ryan, whom he subsequently bought out with loans from members of his family.
