''TV Choice'' is a British weekly TV listings magazine published by H. Bauer Publishing, the UK subsidiary of family-run German company Bauer Media Group. A double issue is released to cover the Christmas & New Year period at a higher price. Overview Regular issues Launched on 14 September 1999, the magazine includes features on UK TV shows, including the British soap operas, and films, as well as puzzles, crosswords, a letters page and prize competitions. Prices The following prices have been effective. Christmas and New Year issues A special Christmas & New Year double-issue was originally priced at £1, double the normal price. As of 9 December 2024, the seasonal issue is priced at £1.70, over twice the price of the regular 82p weekly issues. Outnumbered (British TV Series)
''Outnumbered'' is a British sitcom about the Brockman family, starring Hugh Dennis as the father, Claire Skinner as the mother and their three children played by Tyger Drew-Honey, Daniel Roche and Ramona Marquez. There were five series, which aired on BBC One from 2007 to 2014. A one-off Christmas reunion special aired on 26 December 2016. The following year, Hugh Dennis expressed hope that more one-off specials would be made following the success of the 2016 Christmas special. Taskmaster (TV Series)
''Taskmaster'' is a British comedy panel game show created by comedian and musician Alex Horne. It is presented by Horne (who acts as an umpire/task facilitator) and Greg Davies (in the titular role of "Taskmaster"). In each series of the programme, a group of five celebritiesmainly comediansattempt to complete a series of challenges in the Taskmaster House or at an offsite location. The Taskmaster then reviews the performance of the contestants and awards points based on performance, interpretation or other arbitrary, comedic factors. A winner is determined in each episode and for the series overall. The concept for the programme was first created by Horne for the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2010; he later secured a deal with Dave (TV channel), Dave to adapt it for television with the first episode premiering in 2015. Alex Horne
Alexander James Jeffery Horne (born 10 September 1978) is an English comedian. Horne is the creator of BAFTA award-winning TV series '' Taskmaster'', in which he takes the role of assistant to the Taskmaster Greg Davies. He is the host and bandleader of comedic band The Horne Section. Morgana Robinson is an Australian-born British comedian, impressionist, writer and actress. She has appeared in her comedy sketch programme '' The Morgana Show'', ''Morgana Robinson's The Agency'', '' House of Fools'' and '' Very Important People''. The third series of the revived British science fiction programme ''Doctor Who'', and the twenty-ninth season of the show overall, was preceded by the 2006 Christmas special " The Runaway Bride". Adjoa Aiboom Helen Andoh MBE (; born 14 January 1963) is a British actress. She is best known for her role as Lady Danbury in the Netflix Regency romance series ''Bridgerton'', since 2020.
