TV5 is an Indian Telugu-language 24-hour news channel in India, launched on 2 October 2007 by Shreya Broadcasting Pvt. Ltd. It was founded by B. R. Naidu (Bollineni Rajagopal Naidu) of Chittoor, who is also the current chairman of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) and the owner of Nuzen Hair Oil. The channel is managed by B. R. Naidu as the chairman, with Bollineni Ravindranath serving as the Managing Director and Editor-in-Chief. TV5 is perceived as a propaganda outlet for Nara Chandrababu Naidu. It has been criticized for its biased coverage of the political rivals of Naidu and his party Telugu Desam Party. The channel has been found to be in breach of the News Broadcasting Standards Authority (NBSA) code of ethics on various occasions. Editors Guild of India (EGI) is a non-profit organisation of journalists, particularly the Editors, based in India. The organization has declared "objectives of protecting press freedom and for raising the standards of editorial leadership of newspapers and magazines". It was founded in 1978, by Kuldip Nayar. EGI has represented Indian newspapers in communications to the government. The first national convention of the Guild was held in Delhi on 18–19 March 1978. The guild does not function as a trade union. EGI is managed by its president with the assistance of General Secretary, a Treasurer and an executive committee. NTV is an Indian Telugu-language news channel established by Tummala Narendra Choudary on 30 August 2007. The channel is named after the founder Narendra Choudary who also serves as its chairman while his wife Tummala Rama Devi is the managing director. NTV's parent company is Rachana Television Pvt. Mark Ames (born October 3, 1965) is a New York-based American journalist. He was the editor of the biweekly ''the eXile'' in Moscow, from its founding in 1997 until its closure in 2008.
