TSV Altenholz
TSV Altenholz is a German football club from the city of Altenholz, Schleswig-Holstein. History The club was established as the gymnastics club ''Turn- und Sportverein Altenholz'' on 1 May 1948 and did not form a football department until nearly two decades later on 29 June 1966. Landesliga Schleswig-Holstein
The Landesliga Schleswig-Holstein is the sixth tier of the German football league system and the second-highest league in the German state of Schleswig-Holstein, supplanting the Verbandsligen at that level in the state. Overview The Landesliga was relaunched to start play in the 2017–18 season as part of realignments in the league system of Schleswig-Holstein and as a solution to the problem of many teams promoted to the ''Verbandsliga'' ending up relegated or withdrawn after one season. The league is divided into two divisions of 16 clubs each, Schleswig (north-west) and Holstein (south-east), and teams promoted to or relegated from it will be assigned to a division based on geographical proximity, a practice called "flexible game operation" (german: flexibler Spielbetrieb). The Oberliga Hamburg/Schleswig-Holstein was the fourth tier of the German football league system in the north of Germany, existing from 1994 to 2004. It covered the states of Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein. With the re-formation of the Oberliga Nord in 2004, the league was disbanded. Overview The Oberliga Hamburg/Schleswig-Holstein started out in 1994 as a replacement for the Oberliga Nord, which was disbanded in that year. Along with this league, the Oberliga Niedersachsen/Bremen was formed to cover the other two of the four states the Oberliga Nord previously had served. The Verbandsliga Schleswig-Holstein-Ost is the seventh tier of the German football league system and the third-highest league in the German state of Schleswig-Holstein, together with five other leagues at this level in the state.
