TNA Lockdown (2012)
The 2012 Lockdown was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by the Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) promotion, which took place on April 15, 2012 at the Nashville Municipal Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee. It was the eighth under the Lockdown chronology and fourth event in the 2012 TNA PPV schedule. In the concept of Lockdown events, every match took place inside a Steel Cage. In October 2017, with the launch of the Global Wrestling Network, the event became available to stream on demand. Storylines Lockdown featured eight professional wrestling matches that involved different wrestlers from pre-existing scripted feuds and storylines. Robert Francis Roode Jr. (born May 11, 1976) is a Canadian retired Professional wrestling, professional wrestler. He is signed to WWE, where he is a Producer (professional wrestling), producer and was formerly an in-ring performer. TNA World Heavyweight Championship
The TNA World Championship is a professional wrestling world championship created and promoted by Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA). It is the promotion's principal championship. Like most professional wrestling championships, the title is won via pinfall or submission. The reigning champion is Trick Williams from partner promotion WWE, who is in his first reign and is the first WWE-contracted wrestler to hold a TNA title. Face (professional Wrestling)
In professional wrestling, a face (babyface) is a heroic, "good guy", "good-doer", or "fan favorite" wrestler, booked (scripted) by the promotion with the aim of being cheered by fans. They are portrayed as heroes relative to the heel wrestlers, who are analogous to villains. Traditionally, face characters wrestle within the rules and avoid cheating while behaving positively towards the referee and the audience. Such characters are also referred to as blue-eyes in British wrestling and ''técnicos'' in ''lucha libre''.
