TNA Lockdown (2010)
The 2010 Lockdown was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by the Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) promotion, which took place on April 18, 2010 at the Family Arena in Saint Charles, Missouri. It was the sixth event under the Lockdown chronology and the fourth event of the 2010 TNA PPV schedule. As per the theme of Lockdown events, every match took place inside a steel cage. It was the first Lockdown event with a four-sided steel cage. In October 2017, with the launch of the Global Wrestling Network, the event became available to stream on demand. Production Background The sixth installment to the Lockdown PPV chronology was first announced in a press release on January 16, 2010, regarding the February Against All Odds PPV event. Kenneth Anthony Anderson (born March 6, 1976) is an American professional wrestler. He is known for his tenure in WWE from 2005 to 2009 under the ring name Mr. Kennedy, and his tenure in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling as Mr. Anderson from 2010 to 2016. He is signed to Top Rank Boxing as their announcer. Before signing a development deal with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and being assigned to Ohio Valley Wrestling, WWE's farm area, Anderson began his career on the independent circuit. He was promoted to the main roster in 2005. One year after his debut, he won the WWE United States Championship, which he held for 42 days. At WrestleMania 23, he won the 2007 Money in the Bank briefcase with a title shot for the promotion's world title. However, he dropped the briefcase to Edge after being misdiagnosed with an injury. A professional wrestling promotion is a company or business that regularly performs shows involving professional wrestling. "Promotion" also describes a role which entails management, advertising and logistics of running a wrestling event. Genesis (2010)
The 2010 Genesis was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by the Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) promotion, which took place on January 17, 2010 at the TNA Impact! Zone in Orlando, Florida. It was the fifth event under the Genesis chronology and the first event of the 2010 TNA PPV schedule. The PPV poster was released in early December 2009, promoting Hulk Hogan's debut on TNA PPV. It is the first event since TNA moved to the ''Impact! Zone'' to feature a four-sided ring (as opposed to the six-sided ring used by TNA since the move).
