TNA Genesis (2025)
The 2025 edition of Genesis was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) List of TNA pay-per-view and livestreaming events, event produced by Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA). It took place on January 19, 2025, at the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, Texas. It was the thirteenth event under the TNA Genesis, Genesis chronology, and the first to be held since the Genesis (2021), 2021 event. The event also featured wrestlers from WWE's NXT (WWE brand), NXT brand. Ten matches were contested at the event, including two on the pre-show. In the main event, Joe Hendry defeated Nic Nemeth to win the TNA World Championship. In other prominent matches, Tessa Blanchard defeated Jordynne Grace and Mike Santana defeated Josh Alexander in an "I Quit" match. This event was notable for the appearance of WWE NXT, NXT wrestlers Ashante "Thee" Adonis, Nathan Frazer, Axiom (wrestler), Axiom, and Cora Jade. Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (abbreviated as TNA Wrestling or TNA) is an American professional wrestling promotion based in Nashville, Tennessee. It is a subsidiary of Anthem Sports & Entertainment, a Canadian media company owned by businessman Leonard Asper. Mike Santana
Mark Sanchez (born February 4, 1991), known by the ring name Mike Santana or simply Santana, is an American professional wrestler. He is signed to Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA). He also makes appearances for partner promotion WWE on their NXT brand. In 2012, Sanchez, then known as Mike Draztik, formed a tag team with Angel Ortiz, known as EYFBO and worked on the American independent scene for several years. TNA+ Monthly Specials are a series of live professional wrestling events held by Total Nonstop Action Wrestling and broadcast exclusively on its streaming service, TNA+ (formerly Impact Plus). On April 28, 2019, during Rebellion, the promotion (then known as Impact Wrestling) announced the launch of Impact Plus, which replaced their previous streaming service, the Global Wrestling Network (GWN). ''One Night Only'' was a series of professional wrestling events held by Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) launched in April 2013. The concept was announced on January 11, 2013 by then-Total Nonstop Action (TNA) President Dixie Carter as a part of a change to their pay-per-view programming. Prior to the change, the company held live pay-per-view events monthly. The series consists of events that are taped and released later periodically on pay-per-view, typically on the first Friday of every month, except for the months that featured one of the company's main pay-per-view events.
