TIMAK (Albania)
TIMAK is an Albanian machinery and superstructure company, established in 2016. The company is headquartered in Tirana and it has delivered its products in over 20 countries. Its main production line focuses in repurposing structure to produce police cars and ambulances. It later expanded its production into military vehicles, due to a need for protected military ambulances, including those for Ukraine. In 2024, they introduced the first MRAP vehicle from Albania named SHOTA, which was developed by women engineers, using a Ford F-550 chassis. Arjeta Puca (born circa 1986) is an Albanian computer engineer, entrepreneur, and the founder and CEO of TIMAK, a company based in Tirana specializing in the production of ambulances, fire trucks, armored vehicles, and mobile units for humanitarian and defense purposes. Early life and education Puca was born in Bulqizë, Albania, and moved to Turkey with her family in 1991. Kashar
Kashar is a village and former municipality in Tirana County, central Albania. Its population as of the 2023 census was 89,395, making it the 3rd most populated municipal unit in the country. History The village was first attested in 1456 as the battlefield between the League of Lezhë and the Ottoman Empire. In the 2015 local government reform, it became a subdivision of the municipality Tirana. Demographics Kashar consists of ten communities with a total population of almost 90,000.
