TGR Driver Challenge Program
The Toyota Gazoo Racing Driver Challenge Program (TGR-DC) formerly known as the Toyota Drivers Academy and Toyota Young Drivers Programme (TDP), is a driver development programme by Toyota Gazoo Racing. It is meant to promote talent in different racing series by helping them with funds, hoping to find drivers who will race for the team in the future. Notable graduates of the scheme are Kazuki Nakajima, Kamui Kobayashi; who made their F1 debuts for Williams and Toyota, respectively. The program was launched in 2001 when Toyota entered Formula 1, and wants to promote young drivers from Japan, and other countries that are able to reach F1. 2017 F4 Japanese Championship
The 2017 F4 Japanese Championship was the third season of the F4 Japanese Championship. It began on 7 April in Okayama and finished on 12 November on Twin Ring Motegi after seven double header rounds. Ritomo Miyata defended his drivers' title successfully, continuing with TOM'S Spirit. Teams and drivers The teams were announced on 11 March 2017. Race calendar and results All rounds were held in Japan and were part of the Super GT events. Championship standings Only the best thirteen results counted towards the championship. Points were awarded to the top 10 classified finishers in each race. The 2025 Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine is a multi-event, Formula Regional Open-wheel car, open-wheel single seater Motorsport, motor racing championship held across Europe. The championship features a mix of professional and amateur drivers, competing in Formula Regional cars that conform to the FIA Formula Regional regulations for the championship. The 2025 Super Formula Lights Championship is the sixth Super Formula Lights, Super Formula Lights Championship season, after the Japanese Formula 3 Championship was rebranded following the end of the 2019 season. Teams and drivers As the championship is a spec series, all teams compete with an identical Dallara 324 chassis with a Toyota GR Yaris three cylinder 1.6-litre turbo engine. The 2025 SRO Japan Cup is the fourth season of the SRO Japan Cup, an auto racing series for grand tourer cars in Japan, co-promoted by the SRO Motorsports Group and Team Asia One GT Management. The races are contested with GT3-spec, GTC-spec and GT4-spec cars with hopes of GT2-spec entries. The 2022 Formula Regional Japanese Championship was a multi-event, Formula Regional open-wheel single seater motor racing championship held in Japan. The drivers competed in Formula Regional cars that conform to the FIA Formula Regional regulations for the championship. This was the third season of the series promoted by K2 Planet. The season started on 2 April at Fuji Speedway and ran over six weekends, until 11 December. Miki Koyama won the championship with three races to spare, becoming the first female driver to win an FIA-sanctioned Formula championship. Her team, Super License, won the teams' title. Formula Regional Japanese Championship
The Formula Regional Japanese Championship is a Japanese formula racing championship held under FIA Formula Regional car regulations. Announced by the Japan Automobile Federation on 26 December 2019, it was confirmed that K2 Planet, promoter of Super Taikyu Series, would organise the championship starting in the 2020 season. The top nine finishing drivers in the championship receive FIA Super License points. Car The championship utilizes a spec chassis for all competitors, this being the DOME F111/3 chassis. The car will be powered by a single-make 270 hp turbo engine provided by Autotecnica. 2022 Super Formula Lights
The 2022 Super Formula Lights Championship was the third Super Formula Lights Championship season, after the Japanese Formula 3 Championship was rebranded following the end of the 2019 season. The 2025 Autobacs Super GT Series is a motor racing championship based in Japan for grand touring cars. The 2025 GT World Challenge Asia Powered by AWS is the sixth season of the GT World Challenge Asia, an auto racing series for grand tourer cars in Asia, co-promoted by the SRO Motorsports Group and Team Asia One GT Management. The races are contested with GT3-spec cars. The season began on April at the Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia and is scheduled to end on October in the new Beijing Street Circuit in China.
