TGR-DC
The Toyota Gazoo Racing Driver Challenge Program (TGR-DC) formerly known as the Toyota Drivers Academy and Toyota Young Drivers Programme (TDP), is a driver development programme by Toyota Gazoo Racing. It is meant to promote talent in different racing series by helping them with funds, hoping to find drivers who will race for the team in the future. Notable graduates of the scheme are Kazuki Nakajima, Kamui Kobayashi; who made their F1 debuts for Williams and Toyota, respectively. The program was launched in 2001 when Toyota entered Formula 1, and wants to promote young drivers from Japan, and other countries that are able to reach F1. The is a formula racing series held in Japan regulated according to FIA Formula 4 regulations. The inaugural season was held in 2015. History Gerhard Berger and the FIA Single Seater Commission launched the current FIA Formula 4 in March 2013. The goal of FIA Formula 4 was to make the ladder to Formula 1 more transparent. Besides sporting and technical regulations, costs are regulated too: Any eligible car may not exceed a purchase price of €30,000. A single season in Formula 4 may not exceed €100,000 in costs. The F4 Japanese Championship was launched by the GT Association on 16 December 2014, as one of the second phases of Formula 4 championships to be launched following the Italian F4 Championship and Formula 4 Sudamericana which launched in 2014. is a Japanese racing driver currently competing in Super Formula Lights. He is part of the TGR Driver Challenge Program. Rikuto Kobayashi
is a Japanese racing driver and sim racer currently competing in Super Formula Lights and Super GT. A member of the TGR Driver Challenge Program, Kobayashi won the F4 Japanese Championship in 2023. He is not related to the 2021 24 Hours of Le Mans winner Kamui Kobayashi. Seita Nonaka
is a racing driver from Japan who currently competes in Super GT and Super Formula Lights. He was the former 2021 F4 Japanese Championship, F4 Japanese Championship title winner in 2021. He is part of the TGR Driver Challenge Program. Career F4 Japan Nonaka started racing in 2019, competing in F4 Japanese Championship with TOM'S, TOM'S Spirit and managed to claim 8th in his rookie season. Jin Nakamura
is a Japanese racing driver who is currently competing in the Formula Regional European Championship with R-ace GP. He was runner up in the 2023 F4 Japanese Championship and previously raced in Super GT and Super Formula Lights. He is also part of the TGR Driver Challenge Program. Career Formula 4 Nakamura made his formula debut in 2022 F4 Japanese Championship with TGR-DC Racing School. He did on to win a race and have 2 podiums. 2025 Super Formula Championship
The 2025 Japanese Super Formula Championship is the fifty-third season of premier Japanese open-wheel motor racing, and the twelfth under the moniker of Super Formula. The season started in March at Suzuka Circuit and is due to be contested over 12 rounds in seven race weekends, ending in November at Suzuka. is a Japanese racing driver who most recently competed in Super GT for Hyper Water Racing Inging and in Super Formula for TGMGP. He is the champion of the 2020 F4 Japanese Championship, as well as a two-time class winner in the Super Taikyū Series. He is part of the TGR Driver Challenge Program. is a Japanese racing driver for Toyota Gazoo Racing who currently competes in Super Formula for Kondo Racing and Super GT for apr. He won the Super Formula Lights championship in 2022. The 2025 Super Formula Lights Championship is the sixth Super Formula Lights, Super Formula Lights Championship season, after the Japanese Formula 3 Championship was rebranded following the end of the 2019 season.
