Sárbogárd
Sárbogárd (german: Bochart) is a town in Fejér county, Hungary. The town is at the intersection of important railroad routes in Hungary: this is where electrified routes from Balaton and Pécs merge with non-electrifed railways from Baja and Szekszárd. A double electrified track runs from Sárbogárd to Budapest allowing MÁV trains to provide quick access to the capital. Sárbogárd District
Sárbogárd ( hu, Sárbogárdi járás) is a district in southern part of Fejér County. '' Sárbogárd'' is also the name of the town where the district seat is found. The district is located in the Central Transdanubia Statistical Region. Geography Sárbogárd District borders with Székesfehérvár District to the north, Dunaújváros District to the east, Paks District and Tamási District ''(Tolna County)'' to the south, Enying District to the west. Gábor Varga (politician)
Gábor Varga (born 8 January 1968) is a Hungarian teacher and politician, member of the National Assembly (MP) for Sárbogárd (Fejér County Constituency VI then V) since 2010. He served as the mayor of Cece from 2002 to 2014 and he was also elected as member of the General Assembly of Fejér County in 2006. He joined Fidesz in 2002. Lajos Májer (14 August 1956 – 11 March 1998) was a Hungarian professional footballer who played as a forward. Géza Mészöly (painter)
Géza Mészöly (18 May 1844, Sárbogárd - November 12 1887, Jobbágyi, Nógrád County) was a Hungarian landscape painter. Biography His family was of noble lineage and his father served as a magistrate. After attending the public schools in his hometown and in Hajdúszoboszló, he continued his education at the Calvinist college in Debrecen. During his time in school, he sketched and painted as a pastime, attracting the attention of the art teacher, who encouraged him to follow an artistic career. Postal codes in Hungary are four digit numeric. Béla Jurcsek
Béla Jurcsek (30 August 1893 – 1945) was a Hungarian politician, who served as Minister of Agriculture in 1944 and Minister of Welfare between 1944 and 1945. He was born into a landowning family. He attended secondary school in Nagykároly and studied economy in Debrecen. Then he travelled abroad and also worked briefly in Germany. After the First World War he took part in the political life of Fejér County. From 1916 he was a member of the county's municipality and became chairman of the Alliance of Social Associations' group in Sárbogárd. He also founded the local organization of the Revisionist League. After that he went abroad again (Austria, Italy, Germany). He became chairman of the Party of National Unity (NEP) in Sárbogárd. Zoltán Lengyel (born 17 July 1960) is a Hungarian politician and member of the National Assembly (MP) for Sárbogárd, Fejér County Constituency VI from 2002 to 2009, when he resigned. Biography He graduated from Temesvári Pelbárt Franciscan Grammar School in Esztergom in 1978. He worked for Hungarian Car Club (MAK) as a semi-skilled worker for two years. He attended Faculty of Agriculture of Debrecen University of Agriculture (today part of University of Debrecen) in Mezőtúr in 1980. He degree in 1983. Later he graduated engineer and economic engineering postgraduate certificate qualification.
