Sabail FK ( az, Səbail Futbol Klubu, ) is an Azerbaijani football club based in Baku. The club participates in the Azerbaijan Premier League. History The club was established in 2016 and immediately joined the Azerbaijan First Division. After finishing their first season in the Azerbaijan Premier League in 7th position, Samir Aliyev left the role as manager by mutual consent on 22 May 2018. Aftandil Hacıyev was appointed as the club's new manager on 11 June 2018. Bayil Arena ( az, Bayıl Arena) is a stadium in Bayil, Baku, Azerbaijan. It was opened in 2012 and has a capacity of 3,200 spectators. The stadium is owned and operated by AFFA. Yalchin Mammadov is a current stadium manager. History The stadium was one of the venues for the group stages of the 2012 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup. Three Group matches were played there. Vüqar Nadirov
Vüqar Arshad oglu Nadirov ( az, Vüqar Ərşad oğlu Nadirov; born 15 June 1987 in Ağdam) is an Azerbaijani footballer, who last played for Sabail FK. Career Club Nadirov left FK Qarabağ in June 2015 after six years with the club, going on to rejoin FK Khazar Lankaran later in the month. In December 2015, Nadirov left Gabala after six-months with the club, during which he failed to make a first team appearance. On 27 May 2016, Nadirov left Inter Baku after six-months with the club. On 14 July 2016, Nadirov signed a one-year contract with Qarabağ FK. Nadirov was released by Sabail FK at the end of the 2017–18 season. International career Nadirov made his Azerbaijan debut on 12 February 2004, against Israel during friendly match, which made him young player ever to play for Azerbaijan until 2008. The Sabail FK 2021–22 season was Sabail's fifth Azerbaijan Premier League season, and their sixth season in existence. They will compete in the Premier League and the Azerbaijan Cup. Season events On 22 June, Shahriyar Rahimov signed for Sabail from Zira. On 2 July, Mahammad Mirzabeyov signed for Sabail from Sabah. On 9 July, Jabir Amirli signed for Sabail from Neftçi. On 15 July, Javid Taghiyev signed for Sabail from Sabah. On 29 July, Domantas Šimkus signed for Sabail from Hapoel Kfar Saba. On 7 August, Jurgen Goxha signed for Sabail from Gabala. Two days later, 9 August, Elmir Tagiyev signed for Sabail from Turan-Tovuz.
