Süleyman Oktay
İsmail Süleyman Oktay (born 9 January 1959) is a Turkish former international footballer and manager. Career Oktay played his entire career at Beşiktaş J.K.. He was promoted to senior team in 1978, along with then-youth fellows Ziya Doğan and Fuat Yaman. He represented Turkey at senior level one time on 7 October 1981, against Soviet Union in which Turkey was defeated 3–0 at 1982 FIFA World Cup qualification phase. The Süper Lig (, ''Super League''), also known as Trendyol Süper Lig for sponsorship reasons, is a professional association football league in Turkey and the highest level of the Turkish football league system. In the 2023–2024 season, twenty clubs compete, where a champion is decided and three clubs are promotion and relegation, promoted from, and another four relegated to the TFF First League, 1. Lig. The TSYD Cup (, Turkish Sports Writers Association Cup) was a friendly football competition in Turkey. The tournament started in 1963. It was played throughout six regions in Turkey: Adana, Ankara, Istanbul, İzmir, Konya, and Trabzon. The competition's major leg which was played between the " Big Three"; Fenerbahçe, Galatasaray, and Beşiktaş Beşiktaş () is a district and municipality of Istanbul Province, Turkey. Prime Minister's Cup (Turkey)
The Prime Minister's Cup () was a association football, football competition organised by the Turkish Football Federation in Turkey. It began in 1944 and continued until 1950 as a unique kind of super cup competition between the winners of the Turkish Football Championship and the Turkish National Division. It was one of the earliest super cups in the world. In 1966, the Turkish Football Federation restarted the competition as a final game between the winners of the second division and the Turkish Amateur Football Championship, Turkish Amateur Championship and maintained this system until 1970.
