Borgund is a List of former municipalities of Norway, former municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The municipality existed from 1838 until its dissolution in 1968. The area is now part of Ålesund Municipality in the Traditional districts of Norway, traditional district of Sunnmøre. Coop Norge is a Norwegian cooperative. It is owned by 117 local cooperatives with approximately 2 million members. The company has its headquarters in Oslo. STX Europe AS, formerly Aker Yards ASA, was until 2012 a subsidiary of the South Korean STX Offshore & Shipbuilding. Hamnsund Church
Hamnsund Church () is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Haram Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It is located in the village of Søvik. It is the church for the Hamnsund parish which is part of the Nordre Sunnmøre prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Møre. The white, wooden church was built in a long church design in 1875 using plans drawn up by the architect Hagbart Brinchmann. The church seats about 350 people. History The people of the Søvik area were part of the Borgund Church parish for a long time. In 1866, it was transferred into the newly created Vatne Church parish. On 19 April 1873, the parish was given permission to establish a chapel at Søvik. The building was designed by Hagbart Brinchmann and it was constructed by the lead builder Knut Stokkeland. Terøya, Haram
Terøya is a small, populated island in Haram Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The population of Terøya (about 200-300 people) is concentrated on the southern and eastern parts of the island. Terøya is connected to the village of Søvik on the mainland by a causeway on the east side. The island of Bjørnøya lies to the west of the island. The two islands are separated by the wide ''Bjørnøysundet'' strait.
