Søre Ål Idrettslag is a Norway, Norwegian Nordic skiing, skiing club from Søre Ål, Lillehammer, Norway. The club was founded in 1944. Nordic Skiing
Nordic skiing encompasses the various types of skiing in which the toe of the ski boot is fixed to the binding in a manner that allows the heel to rise off the ski, unlike alpine skiing, where the boot is attached to the ski from toe to heel. Recreational disciplines include cross-country skiing and Telemark skiing. Olympic events are competitive cross-country skiing, ski jumping and Nordic combined — an event combining cross-country skiing and ski jumping. The FIS Nordic World Ski Championships host these sports every odd-numbered year, but there are also separate championships in other events, such as Telemark skiing and ski flying. Thea Krokan Murud
Thea Krokan Murud (born 6 June 1994) is a Norway, Norwegian cross-country skiing (sport), cross-country skier. She participated at the Cross country skiing at the 2011 European Youth Olympic Winter Festival, 2011 European Youth Olympic Festival, winning one silver medal in the 7.5 kilometres; then at the 2012 Nordic Junior World Ski Championships, the 2016 Nordic Junior World Ski Championships (U23) and finally at the 2017 Nordic Junior World Ski Championships (U23), where she took the silver medal in the sprint. She made her World Cup debut in March 2015 in Drammen, finishing in 49th place in the sprint prologue. She collected her first World Cup points in the March 2017 Drammen sprint, and reached the top 10 for the first time on home ground in December 2017 in Lillehammer (10 kilometres).
