Séptimo Día
''Séptimo día'' (Spanish language, Spanish: "Seventh day") is a Colombian television newsmagazine broadcast by Caracol TV on Sunday evenings. It proclaims itself as "a weapon against injustice". ''Séptimo día'' first aired in 1996 on Canal Uno, when Caracol TV was still a production company. At the time it was presented by its creator, Manuel Teodoro, and Adriana Vargas. The show was successful, but also had to face a number of lawsuits, which was the reason Caracol TV pulled it off the air in 2000. Eventually, Caracol TV won all the legal suits. A new season of ''Séptimo día'' started on 10 June 2007, presented by Teodoro and Silvia Corzo. Since 1 May 2011, María Lucía Fernández co-hosts the programme with Teodoro. Manuel Teodoro
Manuel Teodoro Bermúdez is an American journalist. He was born in 1960 in New Orleans. His father is a Filipino and his mother was born in Cartagena de Indias. Teodoro majored in journalism from the University of Miami and started his career in 1984 as an editorial assistant for CBS News. Later he moved to Univision as a reporter and producer and became their correspondent in the Philippines. While staying in that country, he also anchored the evening news program "Newswatch" of the Radio Philippines Network, RPN television network. After that he became the Hispanic New York City, New York based-correspondent for CNN. In 1994 he went to Colombia as correspondent for CNN and presenter of ''Noticiero CM&''. Paulo Laserna Phillips
Paulo Gustavo Laserna Phillips (born 15 August 1953 in Ibagué, Tolima) is a Colombian journalist, political scientist, television presenter and businessman. He was the CEO for Caracol TV between 2001 and 2011. Phillips was raised in Ibagué and belongs to a wealthy and influential family in Tolima, studied International Relations at the Institut d'Études Politiques de Paris, political sciences and senior management from University of Los Andes, and holds a Master of Public Administration from Harvard University. Mr Laserna was a member of the Bogotá City Council and was adviser to Andrés Pastrana during his campaign to the Bogotá Mayorship in 1988. As a journalist, he worked at Caracol Radio, ''Q. A. P.
