Sébastien Tortelli
Sébastien Tortelli (born 19 August 1978) is a French former professional motocross and supercross racer. He competed in the Motocross World Championships from 1994 to 1998 and, competed in the AMA Motocross Championships from 1999 to 2005. He returned to Europe to compete in the 2006 FIM Motocross World Championship for his final season of professional motocross. Tortelli is notable for winning two FIM motocross world championships. He was one of the few competitors who could beat both Stefan Everts and Ricky Carmichael in their prime. World championship career Tortelli was born in Agen, France where his parents were farmers. Alessio Chiodi
Alessio Chiodi (born 17 March 1973 in Salò) is an Italian former professional motocross racer. He competed in the Motocross World Championships from 1993 to 2009. Chiodi is notable for winning three consecutive FIM 125cc motocross world championships. Biography In 1993 Chiodi finished eighth in the 125cc motocross world championship. The following year he improved to second in the 125cc motocross world championship, 48 points behind Bobby Moore. He repeated his second place result in the 1995 125cc motocross world championship, this time by only three points to fellow Italian Alessandro Puzar. Chiodi moved to the 250cc motocross world championship for the 1996 season where he finished the season in 16th place. Richard Bernard "Ricky" Johnson Jr. (born July 6, 1964) is an American former professional motocross, off-road truck and stock car racer. He competed in AMA motocross and Supercross during the 1980s and, won seven AMA national championships. He later switched to off-road racing. He won the Pro 2WD Trophy Truck championship in the 1998 Championship Off-Road Racing and 2010 TORC Series. He also won the Pro 4WD class at the 2011 and 2012 TORC Series. In September 2012, Johnson won the 4x4 world championship race at Crandon International Off-Road Raceway and later that day won the AMSOIL Cup pitting the two and four wheel drive trucks. Richard Joseph Carmichael (born November 27, 1979) is an American former professional motocross and stock car racing driver. He competed in the AMA Motocross Championships from 1997 to 2007 and in NASCAR from 2008 to 2011. Carmichael is notable for winning the AMA 450cc motocross national championship seven times and, the AMA Supercross Championship 450cc class five times. His unrivaled successes in the sport of motocross have given him the nickname "The GOAT"; standing for Greatest of All Time. Everts is notable for winning a record 10 FIM motocross world championships and 101 motocross Grand Prix race victories, making him the most successful competitor in the history of the Motocross World Championships. Cam Jeffrey Emig (born December 1, 1970) is an American former professional motocross racer. He competed in the AMA Motocross Championships from 1988 to 1999. He was one of the top American motocross racers of the 1990s. During his motorcycle racing career, Emig won four AMA Motocross Championships, an FIM World Supercross title and was a six-time member of the U.S. Motocross des Nations team. Jeremy McGrath (born November 19, 1971) is one of the most popular American Motocross/Supercross champions in the history of the sport, racking up seven Supercross championships. He was most active in the 1990s earning the title the "King of Supercross". McGrath did not start riding motocross until the age of 14 because he spent his younger years riding BMX. This experience helped him revolutionize the way supercross was ridden, employing a technique he learned in BMX allowing him to stay a foot or two lower over jumps by coming in with more speed then soaking up the landing into his body similar to the way you ride BMX. The AMA Supercross Championship (commercially known as Monster Energy AMA Supercross) is an American motorcycle racing series. Founded by the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) in 1974, the AMA Supercross Championship races are held from January through early May. Alessandro "Alex" Puzar (born 19 November 1968) is an Italian former professional motocross racer. He competed in the Motocross World Championships from 1988 to 2009. Puzar is notable for being a two-time motocross world champion. Biography Puzar began his motocross Grand Prix career in 1988 riding a KTM.
