Sándor Sallai
Sándor Sallai (born 26 March 1960, Debrecen) is a Hungarian retired professional footballer who played as a defender. He made his début for the Hungary national team in 1981, and was awarded 55 caps, and scored one goal, up to 1989. Sallai was a participant at the 1982 and 1986 FIFA World Cups where Hungary, on both occasions, failed to progress from the first stage. Roland Sallai (born 22 May 1997) is a Hungarian professional footballer who plays as a winger for Bundesliga club SC Freiburg and the Hungary national team. Club career Puskás Akadémia Sallai started his professional career at Puskás Akadémia where he played from 2014 until the summer of 2017. He made his debut on 1 August 2014 against Pécs, and scored first goal in Hungarian league against Ferencváros on 14 September 2014 in Groupama Aréna. The 1986 FIFA World Cup was the 13th FIFA World Cup, a quadrennial football tournament for men's senior national teams. It was played in Mexico from 31 May to 29 June 1986. The tournament was the second to feature a 24-team format. Colombia had been originally chosen to host the competition by FIFA but, largely due to economic reasons, was not able to do so, and resigned in 1982. Mexico was selected as the new host in May 1983, and became the first country to host the World Cup more than once, after previously hosting in 1970. The World Cup was won by Argentina (their second title, after winning in 1978).
