Szekszárd District
Szekszárd () is a district in south-eastern part of Tolna County. ''Szekszárd'' is also the name of the town where the district seat is found. The district is located in the Southern Transdanubia, Southern Transdanubia Statistical Region. Geography Szekszárd District borders with Paks District and Tolna District to the north, Baja District ''(Bács-Kiskun County)'' to the east, Mohács District ''(Baranya County)'' to the south, Bonyhád District and Tamási District to the west. Districts of Hungary are the second-level divisions of Hungary after counties. They replaced the 175 subregions of Hungary in 2013. There are 174 districts in the 19 counties, and there are 23 districts in Budapest. Pörböly is a village in Tolna County, southern Hungary. Geography The village lies in an agricultural flatland some 90 m above the sea level, 9 kilometres in the eastern direction is the river Danube and the town of Baja.
