Alfred Sao-ke Sze
Alfred Sao-ke Sze (; 1877–1958) was a prominent Chinese politician and diplomat during the most turbulent period in modern Chinese history. Early life Sze was born on April 10, 1877 in Jiangsu. In 1892, Sze moved to Washington, D.C., with his father, who was an attaché of the Chinese legation to the U.S. Sze graduated from Central High School in 1897. He became the first Chinese student to graduate from Cornell University in 1901. He returned to China in October 1902 to work for the Peking Government. Career Sze served successively in the Ministry of Posts and Communications, the Jilin provincial government and the Foreign Ministry. In 1905, Sze was part of the Chinese delegation which visited a number of countries to study constitutionalism. Sze Hong Chew
Sze Hong Chew (1959 – 20 August 2023) was a Singaporean television news presenter and corporate trainer. Early life and career Sze graduated from the National University of Singapore, majoring in Chinese studies. He began his career in broadcasting at the Singapore Broadcasting Corporation in the 1990s, and later left to join the corporate sector as a trainer. He was the principal consultant at Success Horizon Consultancy, a business solutions firm, and had set up the learning institute Human Capital Singapore (HCS中文学院). He also co-founded the association ''Bosses Network'' (老板联谊会) in 1996 and sat on the 46th board of the Singapore Buddhist Lodge. Personal life and death Sze married Cai Peiying in 1987, and had two daughters and a son. In January 2020, Sze started medical treatment after a colonoscopy revealed that he had colorectal cancer. Yi-Kwei Sze
Yi-Kwei Sze (斯義桂 pinyin: Sī Yìguì, 1915 – November 5, 1994) was a Chinese operatic bass-baritone and music educator. Born in Shanghai and a graduate of the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, Sze began his career performing and teaching voice in China. In 1947 he came to the United States where he made his professional debut singing at Town Hall in New York City. He continued to study singing in New York with Alexander Kipnis. Yeung Sze (; born February 7, 1946), better known as Bolo Yeung, is a Hong Kong former competitive bodybuilder, martial artist, and actor. Primarily known for playing villains in action and martial arts films, he is regarded as one of the most influential actors in martial arts cinema. Born in Meizhou, Sze learnt kung fu, namely Tai chi and Wing Chun, from the age of 10. Vivienne Sze is an American electrical engineer and computer scientist whose research focuses on low-power electronics and on the trade-offs between energy use and computing power in the combined design of software and hardware, for applications including video coding and deep neural networks. Szeming Sze (; April 5, 1908 – October 27, 1998) was a diplomat for his home country of China who helped build the World Health Organization into a specialized United Nations agency. Early life Sze was born in Tientsin (now Tianjin), the People's Republic of China. He was the eldest son of Alfred Sao-ke Sze, who became his country's Ambassador to Great Britain and, later, the United States. Sze Tsung Leong (born 1970) is an American and British photographer and artist interested in urban studies. Biography Born in Mexico City, he grew up there and in Los Angeles. Sze Tak-loy
Sze Tak-loy (; born 1982) is a Hong Kong politician. He is currently chairman of the Hong Kong Association for Democracy and People's Livelihood (ADPL) and was a member of the Wong Tai Sin District Council for Tung Mei. In the 2015 District Council elections, Sze was first elected to the Wong Tai Sin District Council, succeeding veteran Mok Ying-fan in Tung Mei. In 2016, Sze became vice-chairman alongside Tam Kwok-kiu while Rosanda Mok became the first party chairwoman. In the 2016 Legislative Council election when Mok resigned as ADPL chairwoman after the party lost all its seats in the Legislative Council, Sze acted as chairman.
