Syracuse Stallions
The Syracuse Stallions are a professional basketball team in Syracuse, New York, and members of The Basketball League (TBL). History The Syracuse Stallions were founded in 2017 by founding majority member Jim Evans, as well as minority owners Mike Sugamosto and Josh Winans. The team joined the semiprofessional American Basketball Association for the 2018 season. The team had two successful seasons, including championship wins. and decided to become a professional basketball team. On May 1, 2020, Evelyn Magley, CEO of The Basketball League (TBL), announced the Stallions were approved to join the league for the 2021 season. On August 25, 2021, Nick Peroli, the Stallions head coach announced he would step down from that position and transition to an ownership role of the team. The Basketball League (TBL), formerly North America Premier Basketball (NAPB), is a minor league basketball organization. The league began operating in North America in 2018 with eight teams, and expanded to over 44 teams as of 2022. The Basketball League is a professional basketball league providing player salaries from $500 to $6,500 per month, while teams operate on a budget of $125,000 to $250,000 per season. Liverpool High School
Liverpool High School (LHS) is a comprehensive New York public high school located on Wetzel Road in Liverpool, northwest of the city of Syracuse in the Liverpool Central School District, serving ninth to twelfth grade students. Patrick Beilein
Patrick Jonathan Beilein (born March 23, 1983) is an American former basketball player and current coach. He is the head coach of the Baldwinsville Bees boys varsity basketball team in Baldwinsville NY. Beilein has served as an American college basketball coach and is the former men's basketball head coach at Niagara University. He has previously served as an assistant coach for the Utah Jazz of the National Basketball Association and Dartmouth Big Green men's basketball of NCAA Division I as well as the head coach at West Virginia Wesleyan College and Le Moyne College of NCAA Division II. American Basketball Association (2000–present)
The American Basketball Association (ABA) is an American semi-professional men's basketball minor league that was founded in 1999. The ABA has teams based in the United States and previously had international teams based in Canada and Mexico. In the past, there were traveling teams from countries such as Australia and Japan who played in the ABA. Additionally, there were players from other countries that were on a U.S. team to showcase other talented athletes in the country. Ryan Blackwell
is an American former professional basketball player and current coach. Previously he was Head coach of the Osaka Evessa and Gunma Crane Thunders in the Japanese Bj League. College Career Blackwell started his college career at the University of Illinois in 1995–1996. He appeared in 30 games his Freshmen season before transferring to Syracuse and sitting out the 1996–1997 season due to transfer protocols. Blackwell debut for Syracuse in the 1997–1998 season.
