Synot Liga
The Czech First League () also known as the Chance Liga for sponsorship reasons, is a professional association football league in the Czech Republic and the highest level of the Czech Republic football league system. Seasons typically run from August to May, most games are played on Saturdays and Sundays with few games played on Fridays. All Chance Liga clubs qualify for the Czech Cup. The history of the Czech football league began with its reorganization for the 1993–94 season following the dissolution of Czechoslovakia and therefore the league became the successor of the Czechoslovak League. Thirty-five clubs have competed in the Czech First League since its founding. Sparta Prague has won the title 14 times, the most among Czech clubs and are the reigning champions. Football Club Viktoria Plzeň () is a Czech professional Association football, football club based in Plzeň. It plays in the Czech First League, the top division of football in the country. SK Sigma Olomouc
SK Sigma Olomouc is a Czech professional football club based in the city of Olomouc. The club currently competes in the Czech First League, the first tier of Czech football. The club played in the first tier league for 30 years between 1984 and 2014, winning the Czech Cup and Czech Supercup in 2012. FK Drnovice
1. FK Drnovice was a Czech football club based in the village of Drnovice in the South Moravian Region. It was founded in 1932. The club played in the top flight of Czech football, the Czech First League, between 1993 and 2002, and again in the 2004/05 season. Because of financial trouble, the club ceased to exist in 2006. Drnovice now hosts a small club FKD currently playing regional division. Radek Drulák
Radek Drulák (born 12 January 1962) is a Czech former football player. A forward, Drulák twice finished top scorer of the Czech First League, as well as once in the German 2. Bundesliga. Drulák represented his country 19 times and participated in UEFA Euro 1996 where the Czechs won a silver medal. Club career Drulák started his professional career in the Czechoslovak First League, playing for RH Cheb between 1981 and 1987. He then played for Sigma Olomouc from the 1987–88 season, scoring a hat trick four times, as well as scoring four in another game. Between December 1990 and June 1994, Drulák had a spell abroad, playing for German clubs VfB Oldenburg and Chemnitzer FC. During this time, he became the leading goalscorer of the 2. FC Zbrojovka Brno is a professional football club based in the city of Brno, South Moravian Region, Czech Republic and named after Zbrojovka Brno, a firearms manufacturer. Horst Siegl
Horst Siegl (born 15 February 1969) is a Czech former professional footballer who played as a forward. He is among the most successful goalscorers in the history of the Czech First League. He played for Czechoslovakia and later Czech Republic national football teams. Biography Born in Abertamy, Siegl belongs to the ethnic German minority, with his family was one of the few people who were not expelled after World War II. Siegl is a four-time Czech First League top scorer. He played for Czechoslovakia and later the Czech Republic, playing total 23 matches and scoring seven goals. 2018–19 Czech First League
The 2018–19 Czech First League, known as the Fortuna liga for sponsorship reasons, was the 26th season of the Czech Republic's top-tier football league. The defending champions were Viktoria Plzeň, who won their fifth Czech title the previous season. The season was the first with a new league structure in which 16 clubs play each other home and away, until the league is split up into championship, Europa League and relegation groups.
