"Symphony of Life" is a song written by Tina Arena and Peter-John Vettese, produced by Vettese for Arena's fourth album, '' Just Me'' (2001). It was released as the album's third single in Australia on 16 September 2002. The song became Arena's fifth top-10 single in Australia and her sixth top-50 single in France, where the song was recorded in French under the title "Symphonie de l'âme". Arena stated that the song challenged her and that she is proud of the song. Casey Donovan (born 13 May 1988) is an Australian singer and actress, best known for winning the second season of the singing competition show ''Australian Idol'' in 2004. The second season of ''Australian Idol'' debuted on 13 July 2004. Over 50,000 people throughout Australia auditioned. Overview As well as the five larger cities, the judges also visited Canberra, Hobart, Darwin and Tamworth this year. Of the twelve finalists, three were from Sydney, two were from Melbourne, and one each from Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Hobart, Perth, Canberra, Adelaide and Bega. The winner was Casey Donovan. Runner-up Anthony Callea, Courtney Murphy (3rd), Hayley Jensen (4th) and Chanel Cole (5th). Paul Francis McDermott (born 17 September 1965), who performs as Paul Mac, is an Australian electropop musician, singer-songwriter, producer and music re-mixer. He was classically trained at Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Mac has formed various bands including Smash Mac Mac (1986–88), The Lab (1989–1998), Itch-E and Scratch-E (1991–present), Boo Boo Mace & Nutcase (1996–98), and The Dissociatives (2003–2005). ''Video Hits'' is an Australian music video program that was broadcast from 15 February 1987 to 6 August 2011. From 7 May 2011 it broadcast on Network Ten for two hours each Saturday and Sunday morning: 10am 12pm on Saturdays and 8am 10am on Sundays. At the time of its cancellation, ''Video Hits'' was the world's second longest running music show after the Eurovision Song Contest. The show was cancelled in July 2011 and its last episode aired on 6 August 2011.
