Sylvan Friedman
Sylvan Friedman (May 19, 1908 – March 18, 1979) was an American politician. He served as a Democratic member of the Louisiana House of Representatives. Foshee also served as a member of the Louisiana State Senate. Born in Natchitoches Parish, Louisiana. Friedman was the nephew of J. Isaac Friedman and Leon Friedman. He attended at the Natchitoches Central High School. Friedman served as a member of the Natchitoches Parish Police Jury from 1932 to 1944. He worked as a cowman and farmer for which he served as the president and also the vice president of the Louisiana Cattlemen's Association. Friedman also served as the operator of a general line of merchandise shop. He served as the director of the skyscraper built People's Bank and Trust Company Building. Natchitoches Parish, Louisiana
Natchitoches Parish (french: Paroisse des Natchitoches or ) is a parish located in the U.S. state of Louisiana. As of the 2010 census, the population was 39,566. The parish seat is Natchitoches. The parish was formed in 1805. The Natchitoches, LA Micropolitan Statistical Area includes all of Natchitoches Parish. This is the heart of the Cane River Louisiana Creole community, free people of color of mixed-race descent who settled here in the antebellum period. Their descendants continue to be Catholic and many are still French-speaking. The Cane River National Heritage Area includes the parish. People's Bank And Trust Company Building
The People's Bank and Trust Company Building is an Art Deco skyscraper built in 1931 and located at 663 Main Avenue in the city of Passaic in Passaic County, New Jersey. The tall building is the highest in the city. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on November 19, 2018, for its significance in architecture. Vacant since 1994, it is now owned by the Passaic Urban Enterprise Zone. With accompanying 22 photos.
