Syed Zainul Abedin
Syed Zainul Abedin is the Dewan and Sajjada Nasheen of the Ajmer Sharif Dargah, the Shrine of Khawaja Moinuddin Chishti. He is a Sufi of the Chishti order. He is the son of Dewan Syed Ilmuddin Ali Khan, former Sajjada Nasheen. Lineage Abedin is the direct descendant and 22nd generation of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti, is the lawful authority according to the Apex court of India and the provisions of the Dargah Khawaja Saheb Act, 1955. He is the son of Syed Ilmuddin Ali Khan, who was the Sajjada Nasheen before Abedin. Activities He used to visit and speak publicly at various shrines and other places in India and abroad, on religious and national political affairs. He also visited Kanpur. Ajmer Sharif Dargah
The Shrine of Mu'in al-Din Chishti, also known as the Ajmer Dargah Shareef, is a Sufism, Sufi dargah complex incorporating the Sufi shrine, shrine of Mu'in al-Din Chishti, several tombs, and a mosque, located at Ajmer, in the state of Rajasthan, India. The shrine is significant and it is one of the most popular sites of religious visitation for Sunni Muslims in the Indian subcontinent that can attract up to 20,000 pilgrims per day, swelling to hundred of thousands on Chishti's ''urs''. Popular Front of India (PFI) is an Islamist political organisation in India, that engages in a radical and exclusivist style of Muslim minority politics. Formed to counter Hindutva groups, it was banned by the Indian Ministry of Home Affairs under Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) on 28 September 2022 for a period of five years. PFI was founded in 2006 with the merger of the Karnataka Forum for Dignity (KFD) and the National Development Front (NDF).
