The Sydney University Handball Club is a handball team from the University of Sydney from Sydney, Australia. They are five times Men's National Champions, seven times Men's Oceania Champions and qualified for seven IHF Super Globe competitions. The men's team has won the State Championship eleven times. Michael Roth (handball)
Michael Roth (born 15 February 1962) is a German former handball player who competed in the 1984 Summer Olympics. He was a member of the West German handball team which won the silver medal. He played two matches and scored two goals. His twin brother Ulrich Roth was also a team member. Michael Roth was the HSG Wetzlar HSG Wetzlar is a professional handball club from Wetzlar, Germany. 2018 IHF Super Globe
The 2018 IHF Super Globe was the twelfth edition of the tournament. It was held in Doha, Qatar at the Duhail Handball Sports Hall from 16 to 19 October 2018. In a rematch of last year's final, Barcelona won their fourth title after a 29–24 final win over Berlin. Venue The championship was played in Doha, at the Duhail Handball Sports Hall. Teams The best club of each continent through their tournaments, the defending champion, a host team and a wild card team participated. Hammamat participated because the winner of the 2017 African Champions League (Zamalek) refused to participate for political reasons. The first is a Beach Handball nationals competition and the second is the Australia Handball Club Championships featuring the state champions for Handball. 2016 Oceania Handball Champions Cup
The 2016 Oceania Handball Champions Cup was held at Geelong, Victoria between June 2–5, 2016 in conjunction with the 2016 Australian Handball Club Championship. In the event has seven teams from Australia and New Caledonia entered. The Australian teams dominated with Sydney University winning their fifth straight title over West Adelaide. Two time runners up St Kilda HC came third from University of Technology Sydney in fourth.
