Sydney Olympic Football Club is an Australian semi-professional soccer club, based in Belmore, Sydney, New South Wales, that plays in the National Premier Leagues NSW. The club was founded as Pan-Hellenic Soccer Club in 1957 by Greek immigrants. In 1977, the club changed its name to Sydney Olympic and became a founding member of the Phillips Soccer League, later named the National Soccer League (NSL), the inaugural national football league of Australia, remaining a member of the competition until its demise in 2004. Sydney Olympic have won many trophies in Australian football, including two NSL Championships, two NSL Cups, the NSL Minor Premiership and three NSW Premier League Championships. Michael Francis Beauchamp (born 8 March 1981) is an Australian former professional footballer who played as a central defender. He was a member of the Australian 2006 and 2010 FIFA World Cup squads. Nick Bosevski (born 2 December 1976) is an Australian footballer. He played two seasons for IFK Norrköping. Bosevski spent most of his playing career in Australia with a spell at Liège, Belgium (then in Division 2) in 2000/2001 and at Norrköping, Sweden (2002 and 2003). Clint Brian Bolton (born 22 August 1975) is an Australian former goalkeeper. He was one of the most experienced goalkeepers in the history of the National Soccer League, which preceded the A-League. He played over 300 games for Brisbane Strikers, Sydney Olympic FC and Parramatta Power, and won two A-League championships with Sydney FC. Predrag "Pedj" Bojić (born 9 April 1984) is an Australian soccer player who last played professionally for Sydney FC. Club career Bojić's professional career began at Australian club Parramatta Power in the 2000–01 season, where he played for two years. He went to Sydney Olympic and then moved to Northampton in England the following season on a free transfer after a successful trial. Northampton Town Bojić joined the Cobblers at the start of the 2004–05 season, when he became a first team player. Raúl Blanco (born 4 December 1941) is an Argentine football coach and former player. Blanco was born in Buenos Aires. He is well known for coaching the Socceroos from March 1998 to June 1999. Adam Biddle (born 27 July 1988 in Sydney, Australia) is a former Australian footballer who played for Sydney FC and Bankstown City.
