Sybilization
''Sybilization'' is the third album by American singer Sybil, released in 1990. Background Sybil worked with a myriad of producers for this album, including James Bratton, Eddie O'Loughlin, Stacey Harcum, Stock Aitken Waterman and others. It was released in quick succession to her previous album, which had been released a year before and Sybil had had her biggest hit up to that point in the UK with a cover of "Walk On By" in early 1990. The album and its singles, however, were ignored by both radio and record buyers and did not chart. Cassandra Lucas and Charisse Rose, who went on to form the successful R&B group Changing Faces in the mid-1990s, sang backing vocals on three tracks on the album, including the single "Let It Rain". They also appear on the videoclip to that song. "Make It Easy on Me" is a song by American R&B singer Sybil, written and produced by the British team Stock Aitken & Waterman. It was released as the lead single from her third album, ''Sybilization'', in 1990. While Sybil had landed a deal in the UK with Pete Waterman's PWL Records for her previous album, ''Sybil'', the song was her first direct involvement with the producers Stock Aitken & Waterman, although some of her previous singles had been remixed by the production team and their associates on PWL Records. Sybil later worked with Mike Stock and Pete Waterman on her 1993 album '' Good 'N' Ready'', on which a remixed version of the song is included. ''Sybil'' (titled ''Walk On By'' in the UK) is the second studio album by American singer Sybil, released in 1989. Five singles were released from the album; "Can't Wait (On Tomorrow)", which had been released as a standalone single in 1988, and two cover versions of the Burt Bacharach and Hal David-written Dionne Warwick songs " Don't Make Me Over" and "Walk On By", which were both released as singles in 1989 and 1990 respectively. These two singles became Sybil's first real big hits worldwide, and were followed by "Crazy for You" (featuring Salt-N-Pepa) and a cover of Michael Jackson's "I Wanna Be Where You Are". ''Doin' It Now!'' is the fourth studio album by American singer Sybil, released in 1993. Background For this album, Sybil worked with different producers, including Mike Stock and Pete Waterman, Denise Rich, Prince Charles Alexander and others. The album was released in the US and Canada only. In Europe during the same year, Sybil released a different album titled '' Good 'N' Ready'' that shares four songs with ''Doin' It Now!'': "You're the Love of My Life", "The Love I Lost", "Guarantee of Love" and "Now or Never", but otherwise both albums go in a different musical direction. It includes the singles " The Love I Lost" ( UK No. 3), "When I'm Good and Ready" (UK No. 5), " Beyond Your Wildest Dreams" (UK No. 41) and "Stronger Together" (UK No. 41). In music, a medley is a piece composed from parts of existing pieces played one after another, sometimes overlapping. They are common in popular music, and most medleys are songs rather than instrumentals. A medley which is a remixed series is called a megamix, often done with tracks for a single artist, or for popular songs from a given year or genre. Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums is a music chart published weekly by ''Billboard (magazine), Billboard'' magazine that ranks contemporary R&B, R&B and hip hop music, hip hop albums based on sales in the United States and is compiled by Nielsen SoundScan. The chart debuted as Hot R&B LPs in the issue dated January 30, 1965 in an effort by the magazine to further expand into the field of rhythm and blues music. Peter Alan Waterman, (born 15 January 1947) is an English record producer, songwriter, radio and club DJ, television presenter, president of Coventry Bears rugby league club and a keen railway enthusiast. As a member of the Stock Aitken Waterman songwriting team, he wrote and produced many hit singles. He is the owner of significant collections of both historic and commercial railway locomotives and rolling stock. Michael Stock (born 3 December 1951) is an English songwriter, record producer, musician, and member of the songwriting and production trio Stock Aitken Waterman. He has written and/or produced 18 No. 1 records in America and the UK, over a hundred top-40 hits and is recognised as one of the most successful songwriters of all time by the ''Guinness Book of Records''.
