Swin Cash
Swintayla Marie Cash Canal (born September 22, 1979) is an American former professional basketball player. She played in college for the University of Connecticut and professionally for 15 years in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) and overseas leagues. Since 2019, she has served as vice president of basketball operations and team development for the New Orleans Pelicans of the National Basketball Association. A prolific scorer and rebounder, as well as a capable ball handler and defender, she helped lead the UConn Huskies to national titles in 2000 NCAA Women's Division I Basketball Tournament, 2000 and 2002 NCAA Division I women's basketball tournament, 2002. The New Orleans Pelicans are an American professional basketball team based in New Orleans. The Pelicans compete in the National Basketball Association (NBA) as a member of the Southwest Division (NBA), Southwest Division of the Western Conference (NBA), Western Conference. The All-WNBA Team is an annual Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) honor bestowed on the best players in the league following every season. The voting is conducted by a panel of sportswriters and broadcasters throughout the United States. The team has been selected in every season of the league's existence, dating back to its inaugural season in 1997. The All-WNBA Team is composed of two five-woman lineups—a first and second team, comprising a total of 10 roster spots.
