Swift Bus Rapid Transit (stylized ''Swift'', in italics) is a bus rapid transit system operated by Community Transit in Snohomish County, Washington, part of the Seattle metropolitan area. Swift consists of three routes that total over in length. The Blue Line, opened in 2009, runs on the State Route 99 corridor between Everett and Shoreline. The Green Line opened in 2019 and runs from the Boeing Everett Factory to Mill Creek and Bothell via State Route 527. It was followed by the Orange Line, which connects Lynnwood to Mill Creek, in 2024. Swift has the highest ridership of any Community Transit service. The service also has the highest frequency out of all Community Transit routes, ranging from 10 minutes on weekdays from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., to 20 minutes during early mornings, late nights, and weekends. Swift Blue Line
The ''Swift'' Blue Line is a bus rapid transit route operated by Community Transit in Snohomish County, Washington, as part of the Swift system. The Blue Line is long and runs on the State Route 99 and Evergreen Way corridor between Everett Station and Shoreline North/185th station. It has 36 stations in the cities of Everett, Lynnwood, Edmonds, and Shoreline. The Blue Line has the highest ridership of any Community Transit route, carrying over 1.6 million total passengers in 2015. It also has the highest frequency out of all Community Transit routes, running at headways of 10 to 15 minutes on weekdays from 4:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and mid-day on weekends, and 20-minute headways during early mornings and late nights. Smokey Point Transit Center
Smokey Point is a community and former census-designated place in northern Snohomish County, Washington. The area, developed as a suburban bedroom community in the late 20th century, was annexed into the nearby cities of Arlington and Marysville in the 1990s and 2000s. History Smokey Point was settled in the early 20th century and was originally known as “Hild’s Corner”, then later referred to as Rex’s Corner, named in the 1930s after Rex and Mabel Zeek, the owners of a restaurant located at U.S. Route 99 and Lakewood Road (present-day Smokey Point Boulevard and 172nd Street NE, respective). The restaurant was sold to Eric and Pearl Shurstad in October 1946, who renovated it to a barbecue restaurant and renamed it the "Smokey Point Café". Everett Station
Everett Station is a train station serving the city of Everett, Washington, United States. The station has been served by ''Amtrak Cascades, Cascades'' and ''Empire Builder'' since opening in 2002, replacing an earlier station near the Port of Everett. The four-story building also houses social service programs and is the center of a complex that includes parking lots and a large bus station used primarily by Community Transit, Everett Transit, and Sound Transit Express.
