Swansea City Women Football Club () is a women's football club based in Swansea, Wales, currently playing in the Adran Premier, the top level of female competition in Wales. History Formed in 2002, the team were members of the inaugural Welsh Premier Women's League in 2009/10 and came top of the Southern Conference, winning all six of their matches. This set up a meeting with Northern winners, Caernarfon Town Ladies, with the winner clinching the title and becoming Wales' representatives in the UEFA Women's Champions League. They beat the Canaries 4–0 at Haverfordwest to qualify for Europe for the very first time. For the first time Swansea qualified to UEFA competitions in 2010 after winning the Welsh Premier League. The FA of Wales Women's Challenge Cup, better known as the Welsh Women's Cup is the national women's football cup competition for Wales. It is run by the Football Association of Wales. As Wales had no national league for women until the establishment of the Welsh Premier League in the 2009–10 season the Welsh Cup was the only ticket to the Women's Champions League. The 2017–18 UEFA Women's Champions League qualifying round was played between 22 and 28 August 2017. A total of 40 teams competed in the qualifying round to decide 11 of the 32 places in the knockout phase of the 2017–18 UEFA Women's Champions League. Draw The draw of the qualifying round was held on 23 June 2017, 13:30 CEST, at the UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland. The 40 teams were allocated into four seeding positions based on their UEFA club coefficients at the beginning of the season. The 2017–18 UEFA Women's Champions League was the 17th season of the European women's club football championship organised by UEFA, and the ninth since being rebranded as the UEFA Women's Champions League. Football Club Progrès Niederkorn is a professional football club based in Niederkorn, Luxembourg. History During the German occupation of Luxembourg, the club played in the Gauliga Moselland under the name of FK Niederkorn, where it finished runners-up in 1942–43, behind champions TuS Neuendorf. Three times domestic league winners, the club's most successful years were at the end of the 1970s and beginning of the 1980s. They haven't won a major trophy since the 1981 league title. Lehenda-ShVSM Chernihiv () was a Ukraine, Ukrainian professional women's Association football, football club from Chernihiv, Ukraine. In 2018, it merged with Yednist Plysky as Yednist-ShVSM Plysky. FC Dinamo Zugdidi is a defunct Georgian football club based in Zugdidi. In 2023, after being accused of match-fixing and expelled from the Erovnuli Liga 2 the previous season, the club took part in Liga 4 and stopped functioning following their relegation to Regionuli Liga.
