Swangz Avenue is an audio and film production house in Uganda. As a record label, Swangz Avenue is more lined with music production projects, artist management, digital distribution, music publishing and events management. Swangz Avenue is the brainchild of a Ugandan musician Benon Mugumya, who started this music production back in 2008. Releases The company has been very influential in the Ugandan music sector as it has recorded and released some of the best songs with a variety of local and global musicians. Azawi
Priscilla Zawedde (born 2 February 1996) better known by her stage name Azawi is a Ugandan singer, songwriter and dancer signed by Swangz Avenue in 2019. She sings Afrobeats in both Luganda and English. She became the first female Ugandan act to appear on the New York "Times Square" and Los Angeles billboards. Early life and education Priscilla Zawedde was born 2 February 1996 in Kampala to the late Walusimbi Samuel and Nakamatte Mary. She went to Buganda road primary for her early education and later went to Mother Kevin Primary school in Mukono district, where she completed her primary seven from. GNL Zamba
GNL Zamba, born Ernest Nsimbi, (29 January 1986) is a hip hop artist in Uganda, credited with bringing rap and Lugaflow style of music to mainstream radio and other media in Uganda. His stage name, GNL, is short for "Greatness With No Limits". He is the founder and CEO of the independent hip hop record label Baboon Forest Entertainment, which nurtures new talent in Kampala, Uganda. Aziz Azion
Aziz Mukasa, popularly known by his stage name Aziz Azion (pronounced �aziːzá-ʐðɲ), is a Ugandan R&B singer-songwriter and musician. He was born Aziz Mukasa on 27 July 1986 in Fort Portal, Uganda and raised in Kampala where he studied up to Senior 4 and he made his move into the music industry. Irene Ntale (born 30 January 1989) is a Ugandan singer, songwriter, and guitarist. She sings RnB, reggae, and acoustic soul. Early life and education Ntale was born on 30 January 1989 to George William Ntale and his wife. She started singing at school and in the church choir where she also learned how to play the guitar. Goodlyfe Crew
Radio & Weasel is a Ugandan dynamic Duo under Goodlyfe Crew a Ugandan music group with lead performers being singers Moses Radio (born Moses Nakintije Ssekibogo) and easel Manizo(born Douglas Mayanja). Moses Radio provided smooth RnB vocals while Weasel's contribution is a fusion of reggae, ragga and dancehall vibes. Because of their prominence, Moses Radio and Weasel have formed their own duo known as Radio and Weasel. Benon Mugumbya
Benon Mugumbya is a Ugandan musician and music producer. He was one half of the singing duo "Benon and Vamposs". He is the founder of Swangz Avenue. Early life and education Benon Mugumbya was born in 1981 to Benon Mugumbya and Florence Mugumbya. His father died two weeks before he was born.
