__NOTOC__ The Swan Valley is a region in the upper reaches of the Swan River between Guildford and Bells Rapids, Western Australia. It is bordered to the east by the Darling Scarp. Both Ellenbrook and Jane Brook lie within the region and discharge into the Swan River. There are seven suburbs within the region: Baskerville, Belhus, Caversham, Henley Brook, Herne Hill, Millendon and West Swan. It is part of the City of Swan local government area. The Swan Valley Nyungah (Noongar) Community was an Aboriginal communities in Western Australia, Aboriginal community of Noongar people at Lord Street, in the outer Perth suburbs of Lockridge, Western Australia, Lockridge and Eden Hill, Western Australia, Eden Hill. The Government of Western Australia closed the settlement in 2003 by act of Parliament following allegations of widespread sexual abuse, rape and substance abuse, after a 15-year-old girl, Susan Taylor, committed suicide in 1999. The suicide was the subject of a coronial inquest, followed by the 2001 Gordon Inquiry into claims of family violence and child abuse in Western Australian Aboriginal communities. Swan River Valley
The Swan River Valley (also known as Swan Valley) is a valley between the Manitoba Escarpment in the Parkland Region of Manitoba, Canada. It is located between the Porcupine Hills to the northwest and Duck Mountains to the south, as well as Thunderhill to the west and Lake Winnipegosis to the east. It includes the town of Swan River, and the Minitonas-Bowsman, Swan Valley West, and Mountain rural municipalities. With that being said, however, it has no clearly defined boundaries: although it is close to the Manitoba-Saskatchewan border, the immediate area across the border is sometimes considered a part of the valley by locals, as well. Swan Valley High School
Swan Valley High School is a public high school in the Swan Valley School District of Thomas Township, Michigan. Swan Valley High School is part of the Tri-Valley Central Conference. Swan Valley has been part of the Mid-Michigan B, TVC East, TVC West, and the TVC Central conferences since its start in 1971. Swan Valley's original mascot was the Panthers which soon changed to the Vikings. When the new high school was built, the mascot was changed due to another area high school utilizing the Panthers name. The sports teams of Swan Valley were then divided up between the Vikings and the Valkyries to show individual support for both male and female teams.
