Michael Swaim
Michael Swaim (born June 7, 1985) is an American actor, comedian, filmmaker, podcaster, and writer. While attending the University of California, San Diego, he became a columnist for the humor website Cracked.com, and after graduating from college in 2007, he joined with Abe Epperson to co-found the internet sketch comedy troupe Those Aren't Muskets. Along with Epperson and another frequent collaborator, Daniel O'Brien, he spent the late 2000s establishing a video department for Cracked. His subsequent tenure as Head of Video for the website produced several viral web series that he and O'Brien often starred in; these include the Webby Award-winning '' After Hours'' and the Streamy Award-winning '' Agents of Cracked''. The 2010 independent horror-comedy film ''Kill Me Now'' was co-written by Swaim and features him in a starring role. Robert Frank "Bob" Swaim, Jr. (born November 2, 1943) is an American film director. Life and career Swaim was born in Evanston, Illinois, and was the son of Eleanor (Connor) and Robert Frank Swaim. He grew up in the Reseda area of Los Angeles and graduated from Reseda High School in 1961. He received a degree in anthropology from California State University, Northridge, then called San Fernando Valley State College, in 1965. Swaim then went to France to work on his doctorate in ethnology. He studied at the Collège de France with Claude Lévi-Strauss and at L'École des Langues Orientales with Georges Ballandier. However, spending most of his free time at the French Cinématheque, he quickly became interested in filmmaking, dropped out of his doctoral program and entered l'École Nationale de la Cinématographie et la Photographie, later known as École Nationale Supérieure Louis-Lumière. Hardress Nathaniel Swaim (November 30, 1890 – July 30, 1957) was a justice of the Indiana Supreme Court and later a United States circuit judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Education and career Born in Zionsville, Indiana, Swaim received an Artium Baccalaureus degree from DePauw University in 1913 and a Juris Doctor from the University of Chicago Law School in 1916. He was in private practice in Indianapolis, Indiana from 1916 to 1939, interrupted by service in the United States Army as a First Lieutenant from 1917 to 1918. He was Comptroller of the City of Indianapolis from 1936 to 1947.
