Svoronos
Svoronos ( el, Σβορώνος) is a village and a community of the Katerini municipality. Before the 2011 local government reform it was part of the municipality of Katerini, of which it was a municipal district. The 2011 census recorded 1,948 residents in the village and 2,175 in the community. Prosilio, Pieria
Prosilio ( el, Προσήλιο) is a settlement, suburb, of the Katerini municipality. Before the 1997 local government reform it was part of the community of Svoronos. The 2021 census recorded 158 inhabitants in the settlement. In infrastructure terms Prosilio has wooded hill and tress, the Orthodox Church of Agia Sofia and the Ecclesiastical Elderly Care Home of the Metropolis of Kitros, Katerini and Platamon where nearby there is the Ecclesiastical Guest House that once housed the Second Chance Seminary School of Katerini for two years ecclesiastical lifelong learning education. Kyriakos Papadopoulos ( el, Κυριάκος Παπαδόπουλος; born 23 February 1992) is a Greek professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Super League club Lamia. Having made his first league appearances for Olympiacos at the age of 15, Papadopoulos moved to Germany in 2010 to join Schalke 04 and scored on his senior debut for Greece the following year, aged 19. Katerini ( el, Κατερίνη, ''Kateríni'', ) is a city and municipality in northern Greece, the capital city of Pieria regional unit in Central Macedonia, Greece. It lies on the Pierian plain, between Mt. Olympus and the Thermaikos Gulf, at an altitude of 14 m. Central Macedonia
Central Macedonia ( el, Κεντρική Μακεδονία, Kentrikí Makedonía, ) is one of the thirteen administrative regions of Greece, consisting of the central part of the geographical and historical region of Macedonia. Pieria (regional Unit)
Pieria ( el, Πιερία) is one of the regional units of Greece located in the southern part of the Region of Central Macedonia, within the historical province of Macedonia. Its capital is the town of Katerini.The name Pieria originates from the ancient Pieres tribe. In Pieria, there are many sites of archeological interest, such as Dion, Pydna, Leivithra and Platamonas. The ''Government Gazette'' ( el, Εφημερίς της Κυβερνήσεως, translit=Efimeris tis Kyverniseos, translit-std=ISO, lit=Government Gazette) is the official journal of the Government of Greece which lists all laws passed in a set time period ratified by Cabinet and President.
