Sverre Mitsem (writer)
Sverre Mitsem (1907–2004) was a Norwegian journalist, newspaper editor and article writer. He is known as editor-in-chief of '' Tønsbergs Blad'' from 1954 to 1977 (until 1963 joint with Realph Norland) and for the column "SORRY" in '' Aftenposten'', which he wrote from 1946 to 1996. Career He was born in Glemmen, and had his first journalist job in '' Fredriksstad Blad.''. He later travelled to Kristiania to study, but instead started working in ''Norges Fremtid''. He then worked as a journalist with ''ABC'' and '' Tidens Tegn'' between 1936 and 1941. These two publications were located on the authoritarian right wing politically; ''ABC'' had ties to Fedrelandslaget, whereas ''Tidens Tegn'' was a former party organ of the Liberal People's Party (''Frisinnede Folkeparti''). Tønsbergs Blad
''Tønsbergs Blad'' is a local newspaper published in Tønsberg, Norway. The newspaper was founded by printer Hans Jørgen Magnus Hansen on 3 August 1870, with an initial circulation of 210 copies. By the turn of the century the circulation had grown to 2,600. In 1881 the newspaper was purchased by ''Tønsbergs Aktietrykkeri'', to operate as a conservative publication. In 1986 Orkla Media ASpart of the Orkla Grouptook over ownership. Lars Sigurd Sunnanå
Lars Sigurd Sunnanå (born 28 May 1946) is a Norwegian journalist. Personal life Sunnanå was born in Karmøy and grew up in Porsgrunn. He is a nephew of Klaus Sunnanå. He is married and his son Lars Magne Sunnanå is a former local politician ( Conservative) in Bærum, where the family lives. Lars Sigurd Sunnanå was himself a member of the Norwegian Young Conservatives in his youth. He is also a freemason. Career He worked in ''Varden'' and '' Aftenposten'' in his early career. He was awarded the Narvesen Prize in 1971. In 1972 he was hired by Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation. Asbjørn Larsen
Asbjørn Larsen (born 1 August 1936) is a Norwegian economist and industrial leader. Larsen was born in Porsgrunn. He graduated from the Norwegian School of Economics in 1960. He was assigned with Ministry of Foreign Affairs from 1961 to 1965, and the Norwegian Shipowners' Association from 1966 to 1973. He was CEO of the petroleum company Saga Petroleum from 1979 to 1998. Egil Meidell Hopp (6 October 1898 – 9 November 1972) was a Norwegian journalist and intelligence agent. He was born in Bergen, a son of Kristian Hopp and Anna Christine Meidell. He was a brother of Einar Meidell Hopp. He finished his secondary education at Bergen Cathedral School in 1916, studied one year at the Norwegian Military Academy, later initiated law studies, graduated as cand.jur. in 1923. Cocker Spaniels are dogs belonging to two breeds of the spaniel dog type: the American Cocker Spaniel and the English Cocker Spaniel of which are commonly called simply Cocker Spaniel in their countries of origin. In the early 20th century, Cocker Spaniels also included small hunting spaniels. Cocker Spaniels were originally bred as hunting dogs in the UK, with the term "cocker" deriving from their use to hunt the Eurasian woodcock. When the breed was brought to the United States, it was bred to a different standard, which enabled it to specialize in hunting the American woodcock. Further physical changes were bred into the cocker in the United States during the early part of the 20th century.
