Svartå Manor
Svartå Manor ( sv, Svartå herrgård) is a manor house located at the southernmost tip of lake Lill-Björken in Degerfors Municipality, Örebro County. The current standing manor was built in 1782, during the Gustavian era, and consists of three buildings and a manor park. The manor was built during the residency of Carl Falker, hofmarschall to the Swedish Royal Court. In 2021, the manor house was acquired by two Swedish writers, Christina Erikson and . Manor House
A manor house was historically the main residence of the lord of the manor. The house formed the administrative centre of a manor in the European feudal system; within its great hall were held the lord's manorial courts, communal meals with manorial tenants and great banquets. Degerfors Municipality (''Degerfors kommun'') is a municipality in Örebro County in central Sweden. Its seat is located in the town of Degerfors. The History of Sweden from 1772 through 1809 is better known as the Gustavian era of Kings Gustav III and Gustav IV, as well as the reign of King Charles XIII of Sweden. The ''Hofmarschall'' (plural: Hofmarschälle) was the administrative official in charge of a princely German court, supervising all its economic affairs. ''Nerikes Allehanda'' (shortened ''NA'') is a daily newspaper based in Örebro, Sweden, and distributed across Örebro County. It was founded in 1843 as a weekly paper and became a daily in 1894. The paper is owned by the media group LT Liberala Tidningar AB and the stated position of the editorial is "independently liberal". The name ''Nerikes Allehanda'' is roughly translated "All of Närke" (''allehanda'' is an older Swedish word meaning "of all sorts/kinds", and ''Nerike'' is an older Swedish spelling of Närke). Degernäs Manor
Degernäs Manor ( sv, Degernäs herrgård) is a manor house located at the southernmost tip of lake Möckeln in Degerfors Municipality, Örebro County. The manor house is surrounded by Degerfors golf course. History The building and its surroundings has traditionally been associated with Degerfors Ironworks and the Camitz family since the 17th century. J. Camitz enabled the creation of a park and a ''corps de logis'' at the estate. The manor house has ever since its completion, and the era of the Camitz family, been inhabited by the different managers of the local ironwork. Including members of Swedish aristocratic families, e.g. the Camitz, Strokirk and af Chapman families. In 1936, John Bengtson acquired the estate. For some time during the 1930s, its park was used as a site for scouting, made possible by the Bengtson family.
