Suzanne Williams (judoka)
Suzanne Williams is a politician in the U.S. state of Colorado. She is a Comanche; during her terms of office, she was the only enrolled American Indian state legislator in Colorado. She belongs to the Democratic Party. Williams is related to J. Howard Williams, a former Texas president of the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Before running for office, she was a Special Education Professional in the Cherry Creek School District for 22 years. In 2004 Williams was elected to the Colorado State Sentate. She served as assistant caucus chair for the Senate Majority Caucus, vice-chair on the Business, Labor and Technology Committee, and vice-chair of the Transportation Committee. As an American Indian, she was the only enrolled Native state legislator in Colorado. Colorado's 28th Senate district is one of 35 districts in the Colorado Senate. It has been represented by Democrat Rhonda Fields since 2023. Nancy Todd
Nancy Janann Todd (born October 28, 1948) is an American politician and a former Democratic member of the Colorado Senate. In the state senate, she represented District 28 from January 2013 to 2021. Previously, from January 2005 to January 9, 2013, Todd served in the Colorado House of Representatives, representing District 41. In January 2020, Todd was elected President pro tempore of the Colorado Senate, filling a vacancy created when Lois Court resigned from the senate. Comanche
The Comanche or Nʉmʉnʉʉ ( com, Nʉmʉnʉʉ, "the people") are a Native American tribe from the Southern Plains of the present-day United States. The Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary is a Baptist theological institute in Fort Worth, Texas. It is affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention. It was established in 1908 and is one of the largest seminaries in the world. Channing, Texas
Channing is a city in Hartley County, Texas, in the United States. It is the county seat of Hartley County. As of the 2020 United States census, the city's population was 281. History Channing was founded in 1888 by George Channing Rivers, a paymaster for the Fort Worth and Denver City Railway. The settlement was originally called Rivers. Since the name Rivers duplicated another community in Texas, the name was changed to Channing later that year. Channing developed directly from its association with the XIT Ranch, a property that once included land in as many as 10 counties in the Texas Panhandle. In 1891, Willis D.
