Suzanne Todd
Suzanne Todd (born June 1, 1965) is an American film and television producer, and the owner of the film production company Team Todd. Career Team Todd produced the 2012 romantic comedy ''Celeste and Jesse Forever'', starring Rashida Jones and Andy Samberg, which made its debut at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival where it was acquired by Sony Pictures Classics. This was Team Todd's second time at Sundance. They also produced Galt Niederhoffer's directorial debut ''The Romantics'', which premiered at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival. Team Todd produced Disney's ''Alice in Wonderland'' (2010), which grossed over $1 billion at the worldwide box office and won two Academy Awards—for Best Achievement in Art Direction and for Costume Design. The Independent Spirit Awards (abbreviated Spirit Awards and originally known as the FINDIE or Friends of Independents Awards), founded in 1984, are awards dedicated to independent filmmakers. Winners were typically presented with acrylic glass pyramids containing suspended shoestrings representing the bare budgets of independent films. Since 2006, winners have received a metal trophy depicting a bird with its wings spread sitting atop of a pole with the shoestrings from the previous design wrapped around the pole. Ben Younger (born October 7, 1972) is an American screenwriter and film director. Biography Early life and career Younger was born in Brooklyn, and raised in a Modern Orthodox Jewish household in Eltingville, Staten Island and in Fair Lawn, New Jersey. He attended a yeshiva, before entering Queens College, part of the City University of New York, where he studied political science. While at university, he started performing comedy.
