Suzanne Roces
Suzanne "Sue" Roces (born January 17, 1985), is a Filipino former volleyball player. Career College Sue Roces attended the University of the East for her collegiate studies and played the UE Red Warriors, UE Lady Warriors women's volleyball team in the UAAP Volleyball Championship, UAAP. She was named Rookie of the Year in 2002 in UAAP Season 65, Season 65. She also competed in beach volleyball, helping UE clinch a silver medal in UAAP Season 69 volleyball tournaments, UAAP Season 69 for the 2006–07 academic year. She also played for UE at the Shakey's V-League in 2006. Club Shakey's V-League/PVL After playing for the UE Lady Warriors at the Shakey's V-League in 2006, Roces has also played for other colleges as a guest player. UST Growling Tigers
The UST Growling Tigers, Tigresses, Tiger Cubs and Tigress Cubs are the Collegiate athletics, collegiate and high school men's and women's varsity teams of the University of Santo Tomas (UST) in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines. They hold the most UAAP Overall Championships with 48 senior and 24 junior overall championships. UST is one of four member universities that participate in all 15 sporting events of the league. 2014 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship Qualification (AVC)
The AVC qualification for the 2014 FIVB Women's Volleyball World Championship saw member nations compete for four places at the finals in Italy. Draw 16 AVC national teams entered qualification. (North Korea later withdrew) The teams were distributed according to their geographical positions. 2021 Premier Volleyball League Open Conference
The 2021 Premier Volleyball League Open Conference was the tenth conference of the Premier Volleyball League and its first conference as a professional league. The conference started on July 17, 2021 and ended on August 13, 2021, at the PCV Socio-Civic and Cultural Center in Bacarra, Ilocos Norte in a bubble. The PVL has been approved by the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) to begin team practices to be followed by the official start of the 2021 season. In January 2021, it was reported that Motolite filed a leave of absence from the league and released all of its players. The Philippine Army Lady Troopers will participate as a guest team. Premier Volleyball League
The Premier Volleyball League (PVL) is the top-level professional women's volleyball league in the Philippines organized by the Sports Vision Management Group, Inc. The PVL was established in 2004 as the inter-collegiate Shakey's V-League (SVL) until it rebranded to the current entity in 2017. Prior to becoming a full-fledged professional league in 2021, the PVL was open to participation of corporate owned semi-professional clubs and non-collegiate teams backed by local governments. The PVL previously operated men's and collegiate divisions before they were spun-off into Spikers' Turf and the V-League (Philippines), V-League, respectively, both are also operated by Sports Vision. The Shakey's V-League 12th Season Open Conference was the 23rd conference of Shakey's V-League. The opening ceremony was held on April 5, 2015 with the first triple header of volleyball games at the Filoil Flying V Arena in San Juan, Metro Manila. The Shakey's V-League 9th Season: 1st Conference is the sixteenth conference of Shakey's V-League, a collegiate women's volleyball league in the Philippines founded in 2004. The opening ceremonies was held on April 24, 2012, with the first doubleheader of volleyball games at the Filoil Flying V Arena in San Juan. After a two-year hiatus, the Tigresses of the University of Santo Tomas, the winningest team of the league, participates the conference with other nine teams. The Ateneo Blue Eagles are the collegiate varsity teams of the Ateneo de Manila University that play in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP), the premiere collegiate league in the Philippines.
